Cape Cod Striped Bass Fishing + Penn 7' Battle III 4000 Travel Rod & Reel combo review

Traveled up to Cape Cod for a nice family vacation and I brought with me the new Penn Battle III 4000 Spinning traveling combo set in search of some Cape Cod Stripers. This three piece 7' rod is a great combination for anyone who travels and wants to bring a rod & keep their gear safe & secured while traveling. It comes with a nice sturdy traveling case and two spools. I have one spooled with braid and the other with mono. (Link below for the unboxing video).
We knew we were in a good area for fishing and did a google earth search to find some nice spots to fish on the Bass River up in Dennis Port. We weren't out there for too long but long enough to get on some fish and test out the rod!
So far, the rod & reel have held up great & got put to some good use up in Cape Cod. This is my first time fishing with a three piece rod and I was very impressed with this combo. I'd definitely recommend this traveling combination to anyone who is looking to do some traveling and likes to bring a rod and reel with them.
FYI - I'm NOT SPONSORED I just wanted to do a little review on this product as I knew my one piece spinning rod was not going to be fitting in my wife's car and this traveling set worked out great for me.

Just picked up this combo for 110$ off on boxing day sale....going to Mexico for 2 weeks on spring break....it will be a good beater for my 8 year old boy....

Beautiful combo man. Just picked up the 6000 for myself and the 4000 as a gift. I'll be trying it out mine on Tuesday. Have you used this travel set since this trip?
