Күн бұрынI've been travelling to Cape Town since 1992. That place has changed a lot - in many ways.
Some things have changed for the better, some have significantly worsened.
For example, the townships have improved significantly. There are fewer shacks now, but far more tiny houses. But crime has increased significantly since Covid.
Also the rents have skyrocketed and electricity is only available now and then :)
But still is is one of the most beautiful places on earth, even if you are not doing any watersports.
It's the perfect place you can travel with your family in our European winter. There are so many things to discover down there. But remember - it is one of the most dangerous places, never travel alone!
For us windsurfers it's just a paradise. It doesn't matter if you go lightwind windsurfing with your familiy, windfoiling, hardcore highwind slalom surfing or big wave windsurfing - you have all the conditions in Cape Town. You just need a car to travel to all those beautiful spots.

I love these irregular, ego-less, and action-oriented videos. This one is by far my favourite. I came for a speed-slalom boost but got a lot more. An old-timer in real use, surf bag strapped on the roof, progressive breaks, dubstep, quality fam+self time. I was like "stylish! and at last, someone throws table-tops... we need more old-school moves". Then I had to shout at the freaking eagle wing! :)

Very nice video. I love Cape Town (been there three times), and lots of the place you show in the video (Nordhoek Beach is one of my favourite beach in the world). I noticed that you have used 4 boards at least. How did you get them there? Or did you rent?

Thanks a lot Mario! Travelling with the whole family and all this stuff is pretty exhausing. We took 3 triple boardbags, 2 sailbags, 6 bags + 7 carry on bags on the plane :)

Die ist grad 12 geworden, je früher desto besser. Der mittlere ist grad 7 geworden und surft auch schon. Sobald sie Bock haben ists der richtige Zeitpunkt.

Ist wohl unheilbar… Hast ne ganze Nummer „Schwimmübungen“ gemacht da… und in null Komma nix wieder aufs Brettchen, wohl wegen den Fischen mit den vielen Zähnen! Alles gut für dieses Jahr.
