It’s time to head to Cape York!!
You’ve seen the videos, now time for me to show what I like to get up to on the best trip in Australia! It could be MIGHTY, so I had to get the 4WD ready for a solo trip!

Awesome Ep Bloke, Glad to here your heath is better. Iam just getting my Prostrate sorted out now I have had all the tests now a biopsy soon see how that goes, I agree I First did a trip up the Cape to Laura in 1982 did not go further as the wet was about to break, Came back up in 1987 with my Dad we had 9 weeks up there was amazing,I did a lap of Aus in 1988 with my Mum and Dad, Done the Gulf of QLD and the NT, Arnhen Land, lots of the NT , the Kimberly , But I recon Cape York is the best spot on Mainland Aus, Iam 60 next year if things turn out well with my prostrate Iam going to be camped at penny for at lest 8 weeks, I hope,

Great vid as ever Keith. Im in the middle of getting my 2001 V8 P38 ready for a winter exped in the snow on the islands north of Scotland.. totally opposite to your sunshine. Sorry to hear about your health, all the best mate.

Keithy I'm going to make a complaint! Being a southerner who has never been there I would rather have had a voice over of what the places are that you were showing in the video than repetitive music as I'm afraid it just looked looked another town/campsite/ waterway/ bridge construction site rather than knowing what the places were you were showing. Just a thought!

I like a good comment like this! You make an extremely valid point too. And I also agree with you! However… My defence is simple, and mostly targeted at people who have not been to Cape York before - I don’t like to ruin a surprise! I don’t want to spoil someone else’s trip by giving up the game. Leaving some things to the imagination heightens the element of surprise!

I agree! I have no issue talking through a video, but I don’t like ruining surprises! It’s a catch 22, but I do agree with you!
