Biggest lesson i learnt in 2023 in the stock market is that nobody knows what is going to happen next, so practice some humility and low a strategy with a long term edge.

Nobody knows anything; You need to create your own process, manage risk, and stick to the plan, through thick or thin, While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.

Depending on the rules on the compAny some companies have opposite rules were preferred is given voting rights n dividends only after the left overs of common stock holders paying back to loans investors first..some employees will sell their preferred stock company will sell on the market if they have no choice as well as company sells preferred stock at their discretion

Return on capital is not guaranteed in common stock. Return is guaranteed in preferred stock at fixed rate. Growth potential is high in common stock. Growth potential is low in preferred stocks.

.company saves their own by reserving shares or buying them back to avoid a take over or go down under. Preferred stock is for employers no voting rights meaning no orders or insight s or direction of your opinion to make it proper gain diversified etc. A shares are always better..
