SO happy that Becky from A Handknit Letter mentioned your podcast. Spinning is also my first love and I'm so interested in seeing more of that from you! Your project bags are stunning and so is all of your knitting!

Hello, I am so pleased I found your podcast. I live in the East Midlands in England. I am a keen spinner and wet felter , 18:11 and do a bit of weaving . I can knit, My grandma taught me when I was five years old, however I find it less satisfying than spinning. I really love hand spun and hand knitted garments, and often wish I could maintain the enthusiasm to make more of them. I really love the shawl you are knitting, look forward to seeing it completed.😊

☺️☺️ Welcome! Thanks for joining me here. I love to spin the most too! But I also love the portability of knitting. Hard to choose for me. Hope to see you again. Shawl is now complete if you watch Ep 3 😉😉

Wonderful podcast. I am so glad you’re a spinner!! I love to spin. I have bought fleeces at the local fair and have spun and knit 3 sweaters. I love your Hoosier cabinet!! Beside you. I have my husband’s grandmother’s Hoosier. We are retired dairy farmers. I would love to see the farm. We live in north western Pennsylvania. My daughter snd her family have a CSA vegetable garden. Bless you dear

Thank you! And wow! I dream of someday knitting a garment made of yarn that I processed and spun myself. My hoosier belonged to my partner's aunt before us. I love how they often stay in families and are such practical items to have in the kitchen. Mine is full of spices and baking ingredients. Our farm used to be a dairy farm many years ago, that's a lot of hard and valuable work! A farm video is coming soon. I'm just waiting until we have more things growing to show. Thank you again for stopping by and for your sweet comment.

Love that chunky frost green shawl! I think I want one too! I'd love to meet your animals and meet your cashmere goat! I would love to see your spinning too. I've been trying to practice Stranded colorwork but I've been too chicken. I'd love to hear your journey to fair isle knitting.

Thank you for your feedback! I finished the shawl two days ago and can confirm that it's extra cozy. I'm planning to make a meet the animals video, hopefully soon. As for the color work, the first project I attempted only had two colors total and was a small project (socks). If you're comfortable making socks maybe that's a good place to start? Or a simple two color hat? Just some ideas. I believe you can do it! I would love to make a video discussing color work/fair isle knitting and maybe a bit about going to Shetland. I'll add it to the list of video ideas. Enjoy your day :)

Knitting while watching! Love the knit tour. I would love to see more spinning! I’m trying to work up the nerve to try and spin my angora rabbit fuzz but I’m not a very good spinner, only ever drop spindled vv chunky rustic yarn I honestly do not want to knit with. Maybe the virtual buddy system will help! Editing looks good and very professional btw!

Thank you! You're always so sweet! Spinning really does get easier the more you do it. I only started in 2019. Ive never spun angora but its so so soft. I would love to show more spinning projects. Yay buddy system :)

OMG! shetland is awesome. I went to Wool week. I was agog the whole time. MJ and Gudrun are really special designers. Funny I wan t to make that sweater too. And then you showed the Shetland wool journals. ahh the best stuff(for me anyway) What do you grow on your farm ? And I want a couple of your project bags. Thank you

Shetland has my heart! It's my favorite place I've ever been. I dream of going back, especially for Wool Week. I bet that was an amazing experience. The Shetland Wool Adventures Journals are genuinely my favorite publication. They bring me right back and I want to make all of the projects. We grow vegetables on our farm! Many kinds, but our largest crops are sweet corn, green beans, winter squash/pumpkins, and potatoes. Maybe someday I will make project bags to sell. Thank you!

I’m definitely hoping to include weaving content here. I’m currently moving studio space within my house to accommodate for a new (big) loom I got. But after that hopefully I will be weaving more! Thank you for stopping by. I hope your weaving goes well. 🤎

It did feel a bit choppy at the end indeed but you seem so sweet that I want to know more 😅 I'd love to see your farm, the animals and of course how your knitting is getting on. The shawl looks lovely and I think your socks are very cute, I wish I could knit some, do they take long? Have a great week! 😊

Thank you so much! Hopefully my filming and editing skills improve over time. I would love to eventually make farm/meet the animals video. The socks took me a while but only because I put them on hold for a few months. I felt like once I really focused they went quite quickly. The pattern was very easy to follow.

Hi! I used a pattern from Etsy to make my bags. I think I made the middle size. I felt that it was very nice and easy to follow. I had to make some adjustments to add the quilt square but it wasn’t too different. And I opted to not have the carrying handle but I sort of regret it. www.etsy.com/listing/702002990/drawstring-bag-sewing-pattern-beginner?click_key=b4c63972a73dbd8c1bd787a7276b1c790c5baca9%3A702002990&click_sum=7bb278e7&ref=search2_top_narrowing_intent_modules_top_rated-1&sts=
