I have created a simple capsule style wardrobe that makes getting ready for the day effortless while still leaving me feeling ready and equipped for whatever the day may bring. I'm a shorts and t-shirt or skorts person for summer. I tend to do gardening a bit, and often on a small ladder these days as I sort through my mother's home belongings. Barefoot in the house, old shoes and Sloggers outside. At 76, I guess I tend to be extremely casual. However, I admire your choice of dresses. They're lovely!

I appreciate this kind of content. I was a stay at home mom for 15 years, and I had my uniform for those days. Now I work fulltime fore the school district, and it is a little different, but I love looking at what you are wearing. You are my favorite youtuber!!

I love, love, love the dress capsule wardrobe idea. Your selections are so classic and lovely. Unfortunately I have found that as I am no longer a young mom my legs are just not attractive enough for dresses any longer. I’m currently in a hot, humid environment, and long, maxi dresses or hose (oh nooo!!) would not be comfortable, practical, and also seem less polished to me. I truly miss wearing them. On the younger ladies they are so feminine and beautiful. I now wear classic lighter weight jeans with solid or striped tees, print or floral blouses, with a cropped denim jacket, cabled cardigan, or a knit black blazer if needed for cool evenings or rainy days.

Dresses are so nice. I do not have children but could see how nice it would be to move comfortably and sometimes a bit awkwardly. Searching for a toy under the sofa! Also, making it into a"pocket" for treasures found from outside walks. Enjoy your videos, peaceful with little glimpeses from what is happening in your day

Love, love, love my summer dresses! They are so cool and flowy. I've never found an activity that I couldn't do in a dress but, like you, I change when I'm painting or doing any DIY. I wish I could wear them all year but here in southern Ontario it gets way too cold and windy in the winter ❄️

I love the Boden dress! Very pretty. I have been wearing sundresses all summer because the heat here in Texas has been terrible. Dresses are much more comfortable than shorts when it’s this hot outside. The air conditioning cannot keep up during the heat of the day so it’s warm in the house during the day as well.

My entire adult life I’ve mostly worn dresses cuz it makes me feel more ladylike and comfortable, and I’ll be 67 on the middle day of the year! Your dresses look breezy, pretty and comfortable!

Love the dresses! I wear dresses more often in the summer. Having very old feet, I wear sneakers with orthotics around the house, but then change into footwear that looks a little nicer when I go out. I always enjoy watching these type of videos.

On the Saturday dress try putting the bow to your hip not directly in front. It will give it a more stylish look.

Love the last shift dress. It’s very structured, reminds me of dresses worn in the 60’s. Another commented it reminds her of Jackie Kennedy, I agree. I wear tshirts and capris most of the summer. I do have some sundresses but usually only wear them to parties

I’m in a shopping spree for dresses for the past few months, after I’ve spent some time admiring your wardrobe. 😁 You’ve inspired me to organize my wardrobe into a “uniform” style where I’ll know whatever I take I can wear it leaving the house. However, I do have to say your dresses are gorgeous and I have trouble finding such good cuts here.

I just ordered 2 inexpensive dresses. I used to wear dresses or long skirts or jumpers all the time and then stopped. I always found them easier to wear. I'm hoping to add more dresses in the future

Loved loved all the dresses..you are so pretty t haf anything looks good on you. I loved all the old Navy dresses..beautiful!! I have been wearing dresses and shorts with cotton T-shirts because the heat in TX is terrible.hope it rains soon. We just got back from vacation and in have been postponing my trip to get groceries..usually in summer I wear all light colors..whites beige light browns...love such videos and what you said towards the end....

You have chosen so well as you look lovely and elegant in each dress! I wore a uniform for a number of years and of course did all my patient care in the dress uniform! Raising my children I continued to wear dresses, skirts and blouses and sometimes trousers! but mostly skirts and blouses! I have always felt my best self and also most unincumbered! At almost 60 I continue to feel the same way! An apron over and I can tackle anything!!! xo Dawn

Love the outfits, you look amazing I have similar taste as you, I loveeeee little floral material skirts mostly, and I love a ruffle on the hem… they are cool, and feel perfect in the summers. Once you wear a dress or skirt in the summer you never want to wear shorts anymore. I always try to find when I’m thrifting Loft summer skirts and tops… they are so soft

I’m grandma, (nana). I usually wear tights and workout shirt because I go to bootcamp or indoor rock climbing everyday. I love the idea of wearing dresses but not practical for me unless I change each day when I get home. Weekends I can change it up since I don’t workout but then I am possibly going for a hike or something so again not great in a dress. Love yours though

You look great each and every day! I'm a particular fan of your J Crew tailored navy dress. It's so elegant, and you don't look like a flight attendant! It's beautifully tailored and flattering and the kind of dress that will serve you well for years and years. Your other dresses are cheerful and flattering, but I have a special liking for the tailored navy dress. You're setting a lovely example for all your children by always looking presentable while you manage a household and family and enjoy time with them. Wow!

I really like the 2nd dress, it was my favorite! 💜 You looked great in them all! My wife uniform (empty nester) is a pair of black bike shorts and a white t-shirt! At 58 I just want to be comfy! I do put on “real” clothes when go to grocery store or just out and about lol!

I love all of these! I struggle with balancing wearing dresses, but then I work out at the gym lifting heavy in the mid-morning, then tend to stay in workout gear for the day. Anyone have suggestions?❤

I do capris and t-shirts all summer. Church is jeans or capris and a dressier shirt. I grew up wearing skirts and dresses all the time, so I'm enjoying not dressing up as much.

I’m wanting to switch to dresses from sweat pants and capris! I’ve dressed this way for so long I’m a little nervous. But I’m a seamstress and I can make the skirts and dresses. However lots of women talk about the dresses they wear and how comfortable they are but no one seems to talk about what they wear under their dresses. There is chafing and sweating that goes on, how do you take control of that? Do you ever wear tights on cool days?
