In an attempt to branch out into some different fighting games, I figured this would be a really awesome song to do from the original Marvel vs. Capcom. Unfortunately I don't have a Captain America shirt, so Batman will have to do.

Undoubtedly the best and most memorable theme of MvsC history. I don't get why they had to change all of the classic themes in MvCU

Can't quite remember off the top of my head. It was either Marvel wanting the themes to be more MCU esque to match the movies, or because they thought the old themes didn't fit who the characters were and wanted new ones (which is BS IMO, the majority of the COTA to MVC3 themes fit pretty damn well). It was never officially stated by them, I think that info came from a leaker or someone who worked on the game.

Quite some years ago, I used to play Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter on my PS1 until my thumbs started to ache. Cap had the very same BGM, and I absolutely loved it. Your flawlessly executed cover is bringing me so many nostalgia i feel tears dwelling up.

This is sooo great. To me this theme is an audio cue of the meme where player re-adjust in the chair to take things more seriously. When this theme kicks in, you go to town.
