God Bless you Ashley! I lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia back in the 80's as a teenager. Seeing this is a great thing that you have gone so far to be a pilot for Emirates. I always wanted to be a pilot since my teen years having being able to explore all over the world flying. You did it... I came into a road block... I'm in my late 40's now. I was told that pilots were just glorified taxi drivers in the air back then. It's not... I'm so glad to see you in the middle east flying. God Bless you Ashley.

One thing I love to think about is when a person asks a female what she does for a living, and the astonishment on their faces when she proudly replies, I am a commercial airline Captain that flies A380 Airbus Aircraft. That’s an impressive resume in any country. Great achievement, not just for women, but for anyone. I salute you all.

This is what I LOVE - women who are strong, capable pilots who are still utterly fearless about being girly-girls and not feeling like they have to change who they are to adjust to their male-dominated profession. As a super-femme who went into STEM myself, I want to say thank you to Captain Klinger for inspiring young girls worldwide who might love fashion and makeup, to not be afraid to still set their career goals as high as they wish!

My dad is Pilot since 1981. He stated by Lufthansa for 3 years and then he go to Vietnam Airlines and fly his favorite airplane Boeing 777. By Vietnam Airlines started he with DC planes.
