If a 5* unlock required, only gives us a 3* Britain, the riots needs to intensify

I'm not quitting, but this has definitely pushed me to be f2p

This is really making me rethink the whole game. I enjoy playing and I do pay for passes and will spend on good deals from time to time, but I’m beginning to not keep up as it is. So many new player unlocks on a regular basis requiring so much gold, so much gear, so many training orbs, then trying to get characters leveled up for DD7. My moderate spending is barely cutting it and now THIS. It just feels like the final straw. Scopely is successfully wearing me down. I used to enjoy playing, but at this point I can’t keep up.

These new and unique character release methods need to be detailed at announcement. I get they need to keep some secrets but like MG points out, there's too many unknowns even if you buy the other two new toons.

My experience from past games os it all boils down to the dev’s communication with the community. The more there is the better. The less there is the worse.

in Brazil 100 USD means almost 550 R$, the month minimum wage is about 1.600 R$ ... That means that you need to stop paying your rent and eat, to get cpt britain... super cool lol

Here’s the thing ( I’m only speaking about myself ) but I’m not spending hundreds of dollars to unlock any character. As a light spender this has soured me on spending any money going forward. I understand that it’s the major spenders that Scopely cares about so until they rebel then nothing will be done.

I wish they would tell us what teams would be needed to unlock a character like Prof X, I would be more inclined to save and spend more if I knew what I needed to make it easier to unlock earlier.

I'm just happy all my original top 5 most wanted characters are finally in game. Captain Britain release method doesn't bother me, he will be made farmable eventually anyway. I just think it's smart to make Illuminati 6 man team so I don't have to worry about unlocking him immediately for the next legendary.

Long time F2P player. Started in like early freshman year. About to start my first job and I have been thinking about putting a little bit of money into the game. Already 100, no Apoc, no Skrull, building horsemen teams for Apoc and teams for 7-star horsemen in the background - This makes me not want to in protest. As for my thoughts on the next legendary, I figure it will also have the cheesy unlock that OML had; run high (10+) difficulty with a bunch of the scourges and run Node 1 for a shit load of points.

I feel that this could be a response to krakens complaint that they don’t have a big enough advantage in the game for longer. This only benefits them, and pushes lighter spenders out of their league. Vaulting the character after release is the only reason. Watch the next Legendary will be for an Arena team and pushes krakens both in CC and Arena.

It's FOMO added in with Don't Know. Love the videos. I'm glad I quit a week ago. Just over 80$ a month and falling behind. Never thought I would quit, but it happened. Mindless pushing buttons and lack of fun.

I dnt know what happen on USA alliances, but in LATAM this past months was really hard find active players for 7 days straight. This kind of bad desicions of scop*** are killing bullet on MSF continuity. Free to play was really hard complete our 24 alliance, now will be harder... Nice video guys!!

Scopely needs to be careful because when I played DSA and they went down the same road as what is going on right now. DSA had no choice but to shut down their servers.

And to make it even worse, less than a year from now Scopely will release a new team that does everything Illuminati does, only better. They may still be needed for the legendary unlock for a while, but eventually even that will change. Any advantage you get from buying the team now, will be rendered moot inside 2 years.

People aren't paying to unlock new characters because the price per shard is very expensive. Even if you sink a load of money in with the power creep that character could be almost useless far too quickly. $10 to unlock yea I'd do that, but I'm not sinking in the money they want for the five star level.

out of all of the Captain Britain unlock issues, im most pissed about him not being 5 stars. SOLUTION? if they just put legendary characters right in the same rotation as they currently have the Horsemen and Black Cat, Green Gobline etc... would that make it better? we could slowly get what we need to build our characters to unlock Cap Brit?? clearly there would have to be ways to get shards for Shuri and Hank, which we dont have that yet. scopely has never been good about looking ahead for whats right for us, the players... they make decisions based on right now and not what things happen in the future.

i remember a older scopely game where you had to spend about 900-1000 to unlock a character and alot of people were pissed they wasnt spending that for that op character and she was op she can revive herself and her weapon had a chance to either was it siphen health or revive her aswell so she was godly. no shock they still doing bullshit

The OML release locked behind 5y was already terrible. This is from bad to worse.

They are trying to MAKE us spend money on characters. Which I WILL NOT do. I spend on some battle and strike passes and sometimes buy gold. I WILL NOT now or never spend to unlock characters. If they don't change this I have zero problem going back to just not spending at all. I did that for a few years and will do it again.

Organize a freeze week where we don't play for a week. Scopley will never change if we don't force them to. The private equity firms bought Scopely, then bleed us as dry as they can, then sell it at a hefty profit to another private equity firm, and the process never ends. It's all at our expense. IS this game really worth it????

Scopely’s MO has always been fomo early and fomo often, useful info later. So many times it turned out things were not as bad as we thought, and all that angst and turmoil could have been avoided with a little transparency.

This whole situation is caused because Scopely's only sales tactic is FOMO. They are too Tunnel Visioned on their FOMO sales tactic that no matter what we tell them they won't listen. HOw many times have we asked to be looped in on the offers available for events to better help people? They just don't want to use that informed sales tactic. Unfortunately this might be the end of the road or certainly a road that has little to no return.

That takes away from the whole point of building the characters up, and having the opportunity to unlock your favourite characters if you put in the time. Quit the game today after playing just after the game started...gonna miss the boys in my alliance, miss being in top 5 in arena, gonna me the grind but wont miss the amount of time needed away from my family, the overly excess prices for nothing tangible or the serious P2P creep into the game... Luved the game, the collecting but now done....

They are pushing too many new characters too fast and make them necessary to stay relevant in game play and it’s getting ridiculous.

unpopular opinion... Why do we have to unlock these characters on the first go round? We all live with ZIM and ZJugz unlock method, so this character is just extra special, and only people who are willing to pay for it, this time, get it.. and they get a good amount of time to play with their investment. i spend probably as much as Mobile.. i think that is a ...maybe dolphin level ... i am end game... and in end game right now, i only have one charater not unlocked (besides the brand new ones that just came out ) Mephisto.... once i get him unlocked (they will introduce DD8 and i will have another one ...but) the only thing i will have to do in the game is get gear and stars on all my characters, there is nothing NEW to do.. in that way the game is stale... Scopely needs to keep their Krackens happy and keep them feeling like they are getting something for all the money they spend. at this point everyone iin the game s getting each of the characters pretty much right away for each new characte... so this at least gives those people who are keeping this game going something for their $$ EDIT:: the answer to my question came with Mobile talking about the unknowns for Suri, Hank and then Cap Britain.. and how much money that will cost.

I think the game is about to get shut down. Marvel Always works 6 months ahead of an update. The way they make character release and how they reduce the value of battle pass it's inevitable that the life span for Marvel Strike Force is 15 - 18 months. I think they wanted to make the maximum amount of money until the Marvel IP is with them. Maybe that's the reason why they didn't release the new game mode.
