Here is the newest alien captain concept. It took about three days to get to this point. The previous concept with the long eye stalks was kind of dumb looking. We can't have a main character looking like a cross between jar jar binks and The Tick! Maybe I will use him as a background character at some point.
I need 4 characters total for the first episode. I am not sure if I will use a human as humans are harder to model convincingly due to uncanny valley. So with this new character, and the AI commander, I need 2 more. Really looking forward to getting some dialogue scenes started on the bridge between these characters.
