Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

Ist and 2nd boat BOTH initially had a line on a midships cleat. All they had to do was pass the line UNDER the rail, coil it up, toss it over a piling and hold it. Single line docking, first time, every time.

powerboaters are HILARIOUS. if you are on a sailboat, it takes about three dockings to learn the ropes.

I don't even own a boat and can call these shots. Skipper, give the directions! So true. Dad abandoned boat family and didn't pull bow line 1st? Clowns in the water like driving in Florida.. Be aware!

Forget the bow get the stern into the dock put a line from the stern around the pole put boat in forward and the bow will pivot right into the dock. Easy as pie.

Mid cleat line is all you need. Bow line to load onto trailer.

I guess only the dock FAILS are recorded because NOT EVERYONE in Fla. can be this bad???

Statistics can be skewed by the questions. Same applies with video. Besides you won't get many likes if the content is boring.

This is what happens when licenses and training are not required. I was just docking my boat at 11:00 pm one night when a call came over the radio someone was stranded in the river by the light house. I untied my boat and headed out there. There was a boat outside the channel on the back side of the light house. He yelled to me he hit something but didn't know what. I told him he hit the ledge and took the lower leg off his motor. He said what ledge? I said why do you think the light house is there it's not just there to look pretty. I tossed him a line and said I would tow him into the nearest transient dock. He wanted me to tow him all the way upriver to his trailer I said I'm not seatow and he was lucky I even came out to help. Some people just don't have a clue.

@@bobcosgrove3235 yea.. I've extended myself a few times.. Sailboat on power ran out of gas in a small Inlet. Went and got him some. Young couple were snagged up in some crab pots. I tossed him a knife to cut himself out. He went to give me the knife back, I sd keep it.... ($7.00 NAPA knife from the bucket on there Counter. Wicked sharp and cheap.. aka disposable.. 😉) Both Boater were s t u p i d..

How come I can dock a 26 footer, in wind and current, by myself using the center cleat and two fenders, smoothly, first time, every time? These folks LOOK like they’re experienced, but I’m beginning to think they’re wannabe posers not interested in seamanship or safety.
