Sig Hansen, the captain of the Northwestern, looks for new areas in the big sea to fish for king crabs and takes his crew back to a spot he hasn't visited for 20 years. His crew is not expecting much, but in the end, Sig is the captain for a reason, and they score big!

Old logbooks can be a gold mine. Sig, Norm & Edgar literally grew up on that boat and have spent more time on the Northwestern than in their own homes back in Seattle. The Northwestern & Time Bandit are in their 5th decade of continuous operation: the Wizard had a previous life before being repurposed for crabbing and is now something like 80 years old... I worked a decade on the Bering. Hats off to these guys (and many others, who aren't on TV, both living and dead)🫡🤠🤠

@@treydonsimon2031 honestly I’m use to long hours of work and hard labour, only difference is your out on a boat and not on solid ground. fishing crab maybe hard but I’d sure give it a go! It would be fun! and I believe I could do it

I have watched since the beginning and one thing is still true...Jake is still the cry baby he has always been . Sig should have thrown over board years ago .When he is on , I turn the channel .
