@@mrnickisntaprick yea, back when they allowed smoking while working on construction sites instead of designated areas or off site, i always found it easy to work and smoke at the same time even in muddy grade beam trenches forming or on the top deck. I rolled my own pre rolls and stored them in an altoid box, easily smoked in snow and rain as long as you didnt keep touching it. Just hold it in your mouth and basically breathe through it with small puffs. Smoking is a very bad habit, dont start if you havent, quit if you already have, switch to vaping if you need harm reduction therapy.

Even just commercial Oystering like I did up until the C word shut down my business has it's dangers in every turn. Smaller boats, waders and rough inlets loaded down with 50+ bushels of oysters has its own way of a quick ending. I always have a small knife in a sheath I wear around my neck for when I go overboard or if the boat sinks with waders on so I can quickly cut myself out of them. I've only been out by myself a few times when my help didn't show up and that can lead to the danger of getting stuck in pluff mud then having the tide quickly come in and not make it out before the water eventually rises above your head. Those two factors are the leading cause of demise when it comes to Oystering on that level, but damn do I sure miss it and hopefully this coming winter I can get back at it if everything with the seafood markets and catering companies I supply goes right.

I'm guessing from the context and tone your comment gives off. You've never been at sea.(please.correct me if I'm wrong) It's I VERY high risk job both both financially and in health terms. The stress levels are at all all time high. This video right here is a pretty major example but even the slightest of problems or human/error can result in a massive loss in time, profit or even life. It's no easy task to take on to captain a fishing vessel especially of that size. Making little of the situation only proves to show your own immaturity and lack of understanding of the matter.

You carry him with you wherever you go. He's at home in you and you are at home with him. I'm happy that whole thing didn't break you like your brother. I do still worry about him. Congratulations young man I'm sure your father's proud. Now keep your nose clean and don't let it go to your head. Be a good person always always! You don't want future children to be embarrassed of you. Like you and your brother when your father was being rough. Just don't let the sea kill you like it did your father. Every time I see you with the cigarette I worry. I don't judge though. I have no desire to walk in your shoes. The water is too deep! Josh Harris was one of my favorites and after his firing and what he did to a four year old is not only disgusting it’s shameful. Can’t believe he was one of my favorites on this show

Yeah I lost a lot of respect for him. The only thing I respect was he tried to keep the Cornelia living with his daddy’s legacy. Phil may not of been perfect but I don’t think he’d forgive his son for that.

I like using a drill bit and a drill better than the needle. Makes a bigger hole and don’t have to worry about building pressure back up if it closes up. I lose a nail at least once a year.

Especially in the frozen weather conditions. I work in Fort McMurray, Alberta Canada We get temperatures in winter of -40C(-40'sF) and the heavy-duty mining equipment always craps out in all of the 8 oilsands mines we have. That equipment is run 24/7 365 days a year. Sig's crane crapping out is a quicker/cheaper fix then Cat 797 haul trucks or a P&H 4100 electric shovel

Is it just me or are there different language accents for the narration of the show as to appeal to specific target audiences such as the American, British and Scandinavian accents. Makes me wonder if there's a Mexican spanish accent in for all our amigos out there watching that don't know Englich too well 😄 Great show always has been and always will be.
