We went for another playthrough of the convergence mod in Elden Ring to try out the frenzy build, and it did not disappoint. The damage was straight insane!

When I did my own Blood-Frenzy run I made sure to take the talisman that makes you immune to Frenzy. Made life a lot easier.

I actually forgone that talisman once I found the legendary buff that boosts my absorption and damage when I proc frenzy on myself. You can’t call yourself a true frenzy cultist if you don’t practice what you preach, after all.

My only suggestion in the future to you is to look at the FP regen rings and tears. You can literally make a battery mage that never runs out of FP. Couple it with the Takers Cameo (now also restores FP on kill) and you literally just carve a bloody path through everything, always being able to cast since you can stack like 10 passive FP regen with the flask and other ring. You lose damage, but what you gain in the ability to infinitely cast is immeasurable.

especially if you're doing a build that specialises in poise damage or crits like stormcaller or mystic bc then you can add on the assassin's curio talisman and get HP+FP back on crits as well. it's awesome. edit; also the hidden cerulean tear to make it so your FP use is less than your FP gain too :)

I love frenzied flame but I don’t have the convergence mod, so it’s nice to see a good KZfaqr show the mod’s weapons and incantations.

My personal theory on why there’s a separation and a specific number of the two fingers and the three fingers is that in the three fingers lore, it says that everything was once one and so there was once one full hand five fingers, and then the three fingers represent the pain and suffering

I think the mark of frenzy got nerfed in the latest patch. Because, when I used it in my play through I deleted actual Mohg with only 2 or 3 of the marks. Fun fact: they stack on top of each other, which makes the damage skyrocket.

When I did my frenzy flame run, my final build was an absolute tank. The idea was to power stance the Nomad’s Kilij with a bandits curved sword, and used jump attacks alongside Malenia’s great rune which restores 3% of my HP on hit, which meant my jump attacks healed 1/8th of my max HP. Combine that with the flame of frenzy body buff that increases absorption every time I proc frenzy on myself, and nothing could kill me even with only 30 Vigor.

Man, Convergence spells are so damn cool. I never finished my first run of Elden Ring, but Convergence seems so fun I am tempted. I should probably beat vanilla first, though, right?

I say yea, if only to have some pre-existing knowledge on the game beforehand, which convergence kinda banks on. The experience fresh might still be cool, but less than when you notice all the changes made. Your choice tho brother, it's your game, do what's most fun to you.

Since u can accept the three fingers Flame, therefore losing the help of Melina and get Farum and use miquellas needle all before burning the erdtree at the forge wouldn’t it actually be impossible to do so?

Inescapable frenzy only works on enemies with stamina so any enemy that can be stance broken is immune even if they are the correct size.

Mark of Frenzy used to be super op dmg and poise dmg until they nerfed it. Im specifically not updating so I can keep the op version lol

I don't mind you choosing to go for weapon gameplay, but it would've been nice if you had shown each spell at least one, I was really curious about that massive aoe one you got from Hyetta.

Pretty sure we tested every spell, it just wasn't showcased in the video, i remember it being quite underwhelming. But even then it should be shown in the video that it was tested I agree. Will make sure to showcase all the spells next time.

Guess you haven't watched the full video, nor realized that the game gives you unique weapons based on your class. If you don't like the playstyle that's cool but I test out everything given at least once.

@@Thanatos6669 That might be the difference tbh, I dont think the weapons are boring and sometimes the spells arent really effective vs some bosses. I will try to highlight spells more in the upcoming videos but sometimes it just makes the game less enjoyable for me.
