So me who plays wild am i completely lost? What do i do except from disenchanting cus bying packs with gold takes centuries since there are no wild packs to get as reward

It's tough to do it the free way bc you are losing a lot and it takes so long..it's sad that buying cost so much

Thoughts on the current mega bundle with catch up packs? $80 seems ridiculous to me… but is the value ridiculously worth it lol. Is it possible to have fun and get good decks that will help in ranked without spending money? Or maybe a better question is, if I buy this mega bundle, will the meta relevance only last until the next one comes out? Will the value I get from the catchup packs/badlands packs allow me to maintain good decks for the next rotation by staying free after that.

0:27 Its most certainly is pay 2 win, just like all the blizzard games are becoming really. But you can get more than enough to play everything & even other things now over the last couple years they added a bunch of stuff. Not really happy about the battle pass but its better than most games. You won't be able to be a top player without paying unless you get lucky & know your stuff, but you can at least play. Its not one of those games you'd want to play constantly anyway.

Hearthstone is (Pay to have fun) and pay to win in a way. Unless you played years ago when cards were mostly the same and not insane combo decks, these days when you start playing the game and you decide to start playing wild, or you start winning in standard you hit a rank in those where you run into players that have been playing for a long time, invested money in the game and will win against you. You wont be able to fight them unless you play a meta deck or make your own deck with meta cards. And you will most likely have to use boring cards that just aggro on them because you can't afford legendaries to make control decks/midrdange decks. It's only fun if you have been playing for a long time and have a large collection or you spent money on this game to get tons of dust to craft these epic cards. Also there are people like this guy on youtube who tell you it's not pay to win and they legitimately bought the tavern pass and probably packs too and tell you how you can earn XP fast while they earn 2 times the tiny amount you earn. One final thing to add is that while he shows all of these quests at 6:31 look at how hard these achievements are to finish and look into your own on your own account to see the difference in XP because he has 2x and you with default. You get a max of 100-200 and you also have to ENCHANT the cards you need for these. So that requires disenchanting cards you have for a mere quest or have opened them from packs. It's outrageous what "F2P" games can get away with and when poeple like this make clickbait titles of "easy without paying" or "not pay to win" when they spent money on the game already. Also don't buy a pack that's older just because there are 1 or 2 cards you want from it not worth the gold.

Competitive and hearthstone are polar opposites. RNG isn't competitive
