What’s so impressive is not just that she lands two gorgeous 3axels, but the really difficult edge work leading into both of them. She is absolutely exquisite... easily my favourite of all the new Russian ladies debuting this season

This program is a masterpiece and it’s going to be tough for her to get a program better than this. I hope she becomes world champion she’s head and shoulders artistically above Trusova and Shcherbakova.

Never seen her this good!! Beginning as beautiful and soft as CarolinaKostner and later on almost as fierce as AshleyWagner. She owned it! All in 1 girl! And two 3axels!!

There was another video on YT of her performing this program at I believe the competition held in France, and she was fantastic and on fire there, even better than this performance. She won that competition. A shame the video was removed.

She's amazing. And it's interesting how close she gets to Sasha with just 2 3A's (one UR) vs 4 quads. The quality of her skating speaks for itself.

If covid hadn't occurred, she would have won the 2020 Worlds. What a shame. For nearly two years, she, Anna Scherbakova and Sasha Trusova, (AKA Three A) dominated the figure skating seasons of 2018-2020. and were just playing musical chairs among one another. In obtaining Gold, Silver and Bronze on the podium. While sweeping a number of events.

Ok, she underrotated her second 3A and it should cost but... She's angelic and makes everything dreamy and captivating. Technically she's very strong and soft and her PCs are stunning. Just wow.

@@yvyv8019 yeah i know it looks borderline to me aka 90° under which means it can be given a pass and called clean. she's probably still getting used to the jump hopefully it'll stabilize and become more consistent over the season!

Her PCS is way too low given that they give Zagitova 74+ PCS despite being extremely slow with no artistic skills

ok, I totally agree but this is her FIRST SENIOR COMPETITION. her PCS will be through the roof by the Worlds 2020 :)

@@gogroregogoror agree but Zagitova's PCS is scandalous, her skating skills are even worse than most juniors, almost as bad as Alysa Liu

@@SquirrelTrapper Yes but remember- Zagitova is the reigning olympic & world champion - which means she currently gets PCS from the judges in the bag - regardless of the performance - just like Medvedeva in the years before her. But in time, this will change. Kostornaia is like a new Kostner but with way more technical ability. So eventually, I think the judges will swing in her favour over Zagitova.

SquirrelTrapper Zagitova’s skating skills aren’t good, but they’re not as bad as Trusova’s.
