Lock picking has never been easier with this amazing tool. In this video I will be showing you how to use an SC1 Lishi tool to pick a SC1 Mortise Cylinder. This technique is not limited to this lock as you can use it on any SC1 cylinder such as Schlage Locks.
Learning this tool takes a little practice. I am confident that most people can become a decent lock picker in as little as one hour of practicing with the lishi tool.

Hi Lishi original and genuine are the same. They are made in the same factory in China by Mr Li but are distributed by different companies. The rounded Lishi are the original but they changed it to the squared off one as it is easier to drill the set screw hole on a flat surface. This info is from Deviant Ollam, locksport guru. This is a commercial lishi. There are also automotive lishi tools as well. Also there are lishis that are called 2 and one. Those lishis pick the lock and after you picked it and unlocked it you read the pins or wafers in the locked to make a key.

I cannot seem to consistently get the SC1 to pick a simple Schlage FS doorknob. It seems I am false setting alot? Would over picking be my problem?

Yea so this would happen to me at the beginning too. I would recommend using lube and pick with less tension. I will release some videos here soon breaking down some more in depth tips.

It's not as easy on Schlage home locks. The knobs with the floating spring cap can be a pain. Those should never have been made. I keep used ones in stock. Very easy on generic mortise locks.

You are referring to Schlage f series locks. I disagree. Those are incredibly easy to pick. I pick any sc1 cylinder in under 30 seconds with a lishi tool. Takes a little practice with correcting an over picked chamber without having to reset the whole cylinder.
