Join me and ‪@thefishingpublic9389‬ on a trip to Cancun, Mexico to catch a fish I've only dreamed of landing. We had extremely rough conditions to ride through to make it to the Queen Snapper Fishing grounds but it was all worth it once we got there!

One thing I have realized by fishing in various places around the globe, is the Northern Gulf of Mexico is by far one of the best. We are lucky to have it in our backyard.

You were crossing the Yucatan Channel. We raised 7 white marlin there in one day, of course at that time we had no idea of what we were riding over and what was available on the bottom. Some of the water you were in there ends up in our Loop Current up here in the Gulf. Going out with TFP in June and can't wait to try out my Accurate BV 500N. Really cool video!

You had to hand crank and flex those guns when fishing those depth! That’s the only way you won’t get outfished by those 2 😉

How long were those Pangas? Those were some hellacious seas coming back to the marina. It seems kind of weird that you had to figure out the technique to catch the queens. It is a shame you got sharked on that last fish. No gaff on the boat doesn't reflect well on the captain.

One was 26ft and I think the other one was 27 or 28. Yea, they wasn’t buying the traditional slow pitch method. Misewell have dropped a heavy vertical jig and ripped it up fast. They were not fond of gaffs over there
