Lead Role : Bess Davies
CAPTURE is about the megalomania of entrepreneurs and their loneliness.
A hybrid live-action and real-time CG film, mixing story, acting, mocap and cinematography.
My goal is to create CG scenes as I create live-action plays and film.
With Capture, it's all about the actor, when character merges with being. The strong, moving acting moments sometimes drown the actors in a fictional reality. But this reality is real, felt, where sensations are omnipresent. Capture is a film that questions the future of real humans, their values as much as their imperfections.

Pretty damn cool. Bess' acting is great. While it's not gonna fool anyone that tit's real person on screen, it does somehow manage to avoid the uncanny valley in most ways. I think I'd get used to the vibe enough to actually watch the whole film without being creeped out. Great acting helps.

how did you get the peach fuzz on her , that too me really sells this shot , the camera , dof , Bokeh , lighting are all good even the acting but the peach fuzz adds that extra little thing.

It’s IPhone mic. But shit in sound stage with perfect acoustics. Little bit of mixing in postproduction.
