@CaptureOneDK I have been working a lot with Luminar Neo that automatically identify faces and let me adjust face, eyes ect. Adobe have created a similar function in lightroom. I have been working professionally with Capture one for soon two decades since its been the most optimal software. However this new smart "Ai" bested tools is something that is extremely useful, do you have anything similar in the new 23 version?

Hi Kim Smart adjustments is one of the new features in Capture One 23. And you can even create a smart style.

@@CaptureOne That was not really any answer on my question. Can we expects AI function in C1 that can Identify faces, eyes, lips ect soon so we don't have to do those masks manually ?

So just so I understand because when my first thought was ‘isn’t this just copy and paste?’ Am I right in thinking this is just auto correct but rather than capture one guessing values you’re giving it a reference image to auto correct and then add the reference image values too?

Hi Mark You can read more about smart adjustments in this article - learn.captureone.com/blog-posts/6-features-in-capture-one-pro-23-to-get-excited-about/ You set a reference image and then the smart adjustment tool will change the settings on each individual image, so the look is a match, not the values. Or said in another way - Smart adjustments are based on facial recognition and matching exposure / WB across a series of photos, based on your reference image.

Does "Exposure" in "Smart Styles" refer to just the "Exposure" slider, or to all sliders in the "Exposure" tool tab? (contrast, saturation, and brightness).

thats the same with the copy and apply button on the upper right is that correct?

No. Copy and Apply will simply copy identical numerical values from one image to another. Smart adjustments are based on facial recognition and matching exposure / WB across a series of photos, based on your reference image.

I guess we would rather appreciate the completion of the current features instead of more half-assed features :D. Why do I need this feature if other basic things don't work? :D

It isn't work, followed all the steps that taught in this video. But my images that I want to be smart adjusted are still unchanged

🤦‍♂ WHYYY not allow all settings to be used from the reference photo! If more than just `exposure` and `white balance` you need a style... redundant work

this is useless since NO ONE ever just adjusts exp and WB... everyone adjusts more

the workflow is cumbersome... styles requires switching to STYLE tab, apply style... then back to ADJUST tab... back and forth... WHYYYY not just apply all styles as an option in the same "set as reference" panel????? Get new UX designers ASAP.

Well said. I'll skip that one (21 is fine). Yearly updates are ridiculous with any software.
