@THCxBoricuax not sure if someone already replyied to this but bridging your amp to your subs means combining both channels. So if each channel gave out 250 watts rms you would be combing the power of both the channels so you would get 500 watts rms. I have a 12 inch kicker cvr and a kenwood kac-7205 that is bridged.

@KScharba I know, mono's are good for subs (not for mid range, ect tho) He probably used a 4 channel which is more complicated to wire to demonstrate how to do it

Does it work the same way on a 4 channel? I already have speakers amped on 2 channels and want to bridge a sub on the other 2 channels.

Yes. Just setup the lpf and hpf the correct way.

bro first off how many car speakers do you have and how many channels is your amp? if you have 4 speakers and looking to add a sub you need a 4 channel amp bridged to 2 speakers and a sub, sacrificing the other two speakers u have, if you have 2 speakers and looking to run a sub, you can bridge to one speaker and one sub, so unless you have a 4 channel or better amp you can’t have 2 speakers bridged along with a sub

PLEASE HELP :: On my ata1200.2 its setup (+) ( - ) ( + ) ( - ) and I have my amp bridged on the far left (+) and the far right (-) is it ok or not recommended to connect my two rear speakers to the left over signals ???

What if i got the kac-7205 1000 watt kenwood amp and bridged it to my 2 300rms sony xplods. bridged is having 2positives on the positive side and 2 negatives on the negative side? cause my amp has 4 inserts did i wire it right can someone answer it please??? i got two lines on the positive and 2 negative lines on the negative input is it right i;??

+Yosef P MOST 2 channel amplifiers when in bridged mode need a 4 ohm load. If you connect a 2 ohm load it will ruin the amp. if you have 2 subwoofers and they are both DVC 4 ohm then you can series wire each coil on that sub as 8 ohm then wire both subs in parallel to the amp for a 4 Ohm load. If you have a pair of 4 ohm subs you can either use a pair in stereo mode or drive one in bridged mode. It's possible to drive both in series to 8 Ohms but you would half your output power.

Hi i have a Phoenix Gold Cctane R 8.0.4 amp and its 75x4 watts rms. i want it to power jvc subs and wounderd if i could bridge it to achieve 250x2 watts rms which is perfect for my subs. i have checked online and the amp is bridgable but i dont know how to wire it so abit of advice would be greatly apreciated.. Thanks
