someone said that the whole album is based off of w^w^^w^w pattern. Interestingly this is the same pattern that most american v8s have in their firing pattern

I honestly didn't like this song for the longest time until I hit 1:35 on full blast in my car. Very glad I gave this song a chance.

Andrei Deaconu it’s the main rhythm in this song. imagine the w represents a downbeat and the ^ represents an upbeat. Then you get the rhythm

I'm sure some people have already noticed this, but every riff in this track, except the final one, is based off the down down up, down down up, up down down, up down down pattern the album is named after. for example, the first riff is: 7777-77-7777-77-77-7777-77-7777 then it changes to 33333-333-33333-333-333-33333-333-33333 at 1:12 it's 77-7-77-7-7-77-7-77 the last one though.. I can't see anyway that it would correlate to it, I believe it goes 7777-7777-7777777-7777-7777777--7777777-7777--7777--7777777-- anyone figure it out?

Awesome analysis! From a drummer's perspective I never would have noticed this. Have been listening to this song for years frantically counting out 16th note triplets, but that simplifies the rhythms quite a bit.

No it's perfect the way it is. This is the style. If you think it sounds too thin it's because you are wanting it to sound like other bands who use a fuller sound. Applaud creativity, reject homogeny.

@@noonebuteverone6331 car bomb are definitely mathcore, with a djent influence. I don't think they have deathcore elements in their sound, not to the extent that bands like Danza and Ion Dissonance do on their newer stuff.

@@-LTUIiiin Nope, they "just" do a more "free jazz" kind of stuff, but the frame work its all Meshuggah. Great band tho.

@@andrepereira744 yeah definitely, but still structure and tone wise its pretty different, the kind of timbres car bomb uses remind me more of shoegazey type stuff, the vocal delivery, processing on the vocals etc. Its pretty different from what meshuggah do Obviously meshuggah is an undeniable influence on here, but theres some more stuff going on
