That looks like a heavy duty tent! We used a tent for years, before I got the bug to build a teardrop camper. My wife actually wanted to stick with the tent, because she likes to "sleep under the stars." That is why our teardrop is a convertible...it was a compromise! About to go check out your bikepacking set up video now...

When you're bike packing do you prefer a tent or hammock and why do you choose to use it?

I currently have a tent camping setup and have only dabbled with hammock camping so far. The summary of my thoughts at this point is that hammock camping has the potential to provide for a better night’s sleep, but there are not always two tree’s available at all camp sites to facilitate hammock camping.

@@KentuckyCycling That's what I was thinking you're limited when it comes to hammocks. I guess you could carry both just in case but that's additional weight. I have seen a hammock/tent but haven't heard many reviews about it.
