For a beginner is easier to not focus on the accelerator just release your clutch to a biting point and let got off break pedal or hand brake the.car will move then you fully release clutch then accelerator 🎉

I mean not always but I get your point, newer vehicles you should never really have to rev the car to get keep from stall, but like your saying you should at least always transition and have your feet working in opposite direction of the other in one motion or aim to do so. I was used to the method your speaking of driving older cars and old hotrods but once I moved away from the clutch cables and cars that would steady idle and do so consistently and quietly then as long as their is no misfiring issues you should be able to release the clutch and then accelerate but say your stop and go like a Walmart parking lot people crossing your in newer car you should be able to let the clutch out fully and cruise the parking lot a bit without gas at all instead of having to use the gas Everytime to ensure you don't kill it like when you are on a hill with someone on riding your ass and no room to roll back at all slipping the clutch will only always cause premature wear! I would suspect this guy was holding foot away from accelerator coming out the clutch for demo purposes but I could be wrong but regardless as long as he has a steady and high enough idle then he should be somewhat cruising in that first gear My car unfortunately has rev hang tuned into the computer stock so it will jump when you engage and disengage the damn thing even when not in gear at all it's like always being a cold start I hate it it causes a problem with getting use to driving it plus the clutch and shifting have no real feedback feel to em bc they are all on rods to shift linkage with plastic bushings and clutch cable would have to be one of the steel braided cables that flex to get the feel in it and it will just be all over the place and decide exactly where it wants to actually engage at sometimes it's down by the floor sometimes it's closer to letters ng all the way out it decides super annoying and hard to learn i slipped the clutch unintentionally like learning all over again except even when i learned and drove my first clutch never even slipped clutches unintentionally. Had my buddy drive my car one time bc I had to get to work and wasn't going to let him take the uhaul I was responsible for since I needed his help and ended up with no time to take him home so I knew he could at least drive a standard but also knew my car was real diff and kinda touchy needless to say it was well over a 600 dollar mistake and 14 hour job no matter how you did it or little corners you wanted to try to cut I'm still really curious how he did it bc I got the car back not even 4 hours later and he literally went back home across town my brother went to get my car and the clutch had never slipped on its own or anything that I had noticed to not be my own fault of not having my foot all the way up like it felt even then had only happened maybe 4 times total to me other then that no slip. My brother tells me I had no clutch I said bull shit your lying he was like I'm taking it to your house and picking you up you'll see needless to say yes it still drove for a month maybe but their was not actual clutch plate left and looked like someone just drove with literally no padding left on brakes and just slamming them into the rotors which was pretty obviously noticeable in driving it until it wouldnt move any longer. Of course as per usual with these things it started all the sudden working like their was never a problem better then ever outta no where with nothing done to help it should have known better honestly it always gets better before catastrophic
