Parabéns é bom ver uma relíquia dessas restaurado. As coisas boas que passaram fizeram história tem que ser preservado para as próximas gerações terem uma noção das coisas e como se referenciarem para encarar o futuro.

I believe his is a French Hotchkiss license built Jeep. See the Frech language model plaque.

You are right but from 1946 till 1956 The first Hotchkiss jeeps were refurbished ww2 jeeps. These jeeps were completly taken apart cleaned restored and rebuilt with NOS parts if needed. They also got French language plaques. This body has a typical French body bracket thus French built.

But this is not a Jeep MB, the frame looks like a Ford.

It’s a Willys MB. Willys had a Tubular front cross member, where as Ford has a U section. And it’s an MB as in one photo of the repainted chassis, you can see the machine gun pedestal Mount base plate in the background; which only came on military Jeeps.
