that lack of support can be the death of a brand when entering new markets... audi got slammed in the 80's over a false report about their brakes being shoddy and it took them almost 2 decades to recapture their lost demographic. you are completely correct about this with caracal and i was looking at one myself.

I think it's a great looking gun. So they have some problems to sort out big deal. I saw a guy at the steel match had one and he said he likes it more than his Glock 17.. Now they fixed all the problems and they have a bunch of brand new guns coming to the dealers.. I'm buying one for sure.. BTW, I have 6 Glocks..

Here in South Africa we can still buy the original Caracal model f. As i understand it the incidents that caused the cracked slides were due to inconsistently loaded inferior ammunition. It only happened twice both times in the same country with the same ammo... Suspicious much? As for the drop safety issue, i saw a few videos of guy throwing these things high into the air and falling on concrete without discharging numerous times.

Dont forget the recall that has totally screwed the value of the gun...and the lack of support..its been almost 2 months since their website has said anything..

Not sure what the point of showing the field strip procedure was. All of today's polymer pistols break down in a similar (or at least as easy) fashion.
