I agree Michelle’s comment “turning lemons into lemonade and then changed it to turning it into wine” might become our new catch phrase haha. I could not take the smile off my face when she said that. Thanks for watching.

Great to hear it all worked out well in the end. No accidents. Brakes fixed. No charge. Challenges like these, although unwanted, prepare you for the road ahead. By the way I got a few lemons here to give to Michelle to make some of that wine! lol

Yes I did not totally publish our time line. We initially had issues at the Yarra and then over the coming days we we’re heading down to Wilson Prom with the ongoing issues, hence we ended up in Leongatha for the auto electrician.

We had a similar issue with the electric brakes working intermittently. We had a great auto electrician in Jindera sort us out. It took a replacement of the Redarc unit to finally fix the problem for us. We have been over 6,000km with no problems now. Happy travels.

I think I will be replacing our redarc soon like yourself. We have had it fail again since making the video. The auto electrician said redarc did have a period that they were playing up. I disconnected the battery and it reset the system and working again. Temporary fix for now until we can replace. Thanks for the feedback

Intermitant Brake problems are frustrating. The pins do close up, I think pin 11 &12 on female (on the car) unplug check you have voltage from your brake controller when the brakes are applied .The BP connectors joining the power supply aren't the best and can be problematic with dust corrugations, water etc . I find a quality soldered joint with heat shrink to be very reliable. Safe travels.

Hi Guy's. We had similar problems with our van, turned out to be the wire for earth return from from brakes was cut. So the tow ball and chains became the earth return which made it intermittent. Something to look at if not repaired yet, keep safe
