Hi everyone!
So last time I thought I would give Silky Caravan Cleaner a try, and I soon found that my preference was my usual Fenwicks Cleaner. Today I thought I would show you how I use Fenwicks to clean my caravan and the great results it gives. Again, be prepared to be dazzled by my demonstration skills.

Amazes me how slow we are to caravanning in nz and the wealth of content on you tube. Never thought to subscribe until I saw the interview with caravan nut! Thank you to all the caravan communities on you tube. I look forward to watching all your content even if I am 3+ years behind 😂

Hi it was so easy to use than the silky polish application, great finish I think Going to try it. Also like how you apply it as my caravan is in storage so easy to take the sprayers up to it. Thanks for another good video.

I'm converted Phil... great video. Have to say I cringe when I see people using the brush on a stick as they are not that soft. I have found the Kampa microfibre extending brush works great and softer so no micro scratching..

Hey Steve, yes I totally get your point about the brush, more suited to trucks etc I think. I tend to only use it on the very top. Thanks for the kind comments, and apologies for the (very) late reply 😊

Love all the videos especially the Cornwall ones - makes me want to go back as not been towards St Ives for years. Quick one on cleaning - any tips on keeping all the nooks and crannies clean? Around external lockers, the grab handles, around the front locker, lights, awning rails etc. My van seems to attract black stuff 🙈. Your van is immaculate! Love the channel, keep up the great work.

Hey Steve! Aww thank you so much for the lovely comments, it’s really brought a smile to our faces! Cornwall was amazing, we were so lucky with the weather though which really helped. Yes, for the books and crannies I have an old paintbrush and an old toothbrush, I spray in some of the cleaner then give it a good old wiggle with them, works a treat! Good demo. I didn’t realise that about bobby dazzler looks a great finish better than silky IMO. Lovely day for it I was doing DIY in the house on Sunday and the van is a right old mess 😫Graham

Cheers Graham! Yes the Bobby Dazzler really is great stuff, when it rains even weeks after you can see the effect. I must admit, cleaning it after walking miles on the Saturday did make the legs ache a bit, but wanted to take advantage of the weather 👍🏻

Great vid, I'm I right in thinking if only using the cleaner I just rise off with water and wipe dry with micro cloth ?

Thank you! Yes I guess you could just rinse off with water, the thing about the rinse solution is it makes it easier as it’s wax based 👍

Hi Aaron good stuff fenwick does what it said on the tin .I never thought about putting the cleaner in a pump spray bottle and spaying it on will try that next time round u done a good job on van can I ask how com u don't put winter cover on over winter as I do and it keeps van clean and protect it from the winter elements I had a specialise cover made to measure and they fit perfect well worth the money and I think it puts would be thevies steeling your van aswell cheers.kev

Hey Kev, thanks for your kind comments, Fenwicks really is great stuff. Yes the pump sprayers make life much easier, it is an idea I got from Dan Trudgeon to be fair. Good question about the winter cover, we use our caravan all year, its been stood for about 6 weeks since our last trip which is generally the longest we go between trips, we are using it this weekend and the 2 weeks time 👍🏻. Would I be correct in thinking your drying cloth was an Autoglym super drying cloth, I swear by them far better than a chamois, Myself I use Autoglym Fast Glass specifically for acrylic windows. Going out to get ourselves the Bobby Dazzler and pump's as it seems a very good economic use of water and quick way to get the caravan in pristine condition, we already have the Fenwicks caravan cleaner which I bought for the caravan roof but will now use all over the van

Hey, thanks for your comment! No actually it isn’t an autoglym cloth, just one from my overly large collection of microfibre cloths 🤣 always work a treat. Yes really recommend the sprayers and bobby dazzler is just brilliant stuff! Thanks for watching!

Hi there, new to caravanning, great video, just one question, how long do you wait for the Bobby dazzler to dry before micro firing.. Many thanks, keep em coming...

Hey. Thanks for the kind comments! I tend to spray on the Bobby dazzler, moving round the van, then by the time you’ve reach the starting point again it’s ready to wipe over with the micro fibre. You don’t want it bone dry, but if it’s soaking wet it will dry with water marks, hope that helps!

Does 1 5l barrel do the whole van? Q2- what's the brush you use? Looks the biz, is it soft bristle?

The way I use it, I normally get 3 sides out of 5l but if used more sparingly then I’m sure you could make it stretch. As for the brush, it’s just a standard extendible brush, I’ve had it for ages but sure I got it from the range. They do them in Halfords too I’m sure 👍

Do you rinse off the bobby dazle or did you just wipe off an dry it.

Hey Mike. No I just let it half dry, then use a good quality microfibre cloth and wipe over it to remove the water marks 👍
