Although you say you weren't totally happy with the end result it was a huge improvement. I've noticed in your videos that the beemer always looks in fine fettle and I think there's a lot of products from the car detailing world that could be of use for your caravan. Maybe a snow foam as a pre wash (to soak into the grime and soften /loosen it prior to a contactless rinse). After washing some sort of sealant like gyeon wet coat or similar. Just some suggestions, keep up the vids, I'm enjoying watching you guys 👍

Good video. One tip I would give is to put the jockey right up before you clean to let the water run off the back. Then scrub from front to back 👍

Nice one Aron. I have to say our caravan has had Paintseal applied so the roof doesn’t get mucky. But Grandma’s caravan has been sat under a tree for 9months and is covered in everything... after the last video I made about cleaning it! I will DM you in a minute. Cheers Oliver

Hi Aaron.. loved the video, it’s a job I hate but I found the Kampa long reach microfibre brush and it makes it so much easier and quicker as you can do the whole van roof with only two moves of the ladder. It’s also quite flat so if you open the roof vents you can clean much more. I also spray it with Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler after it’s cleaned as I find its easier to clean the next time...

A job that is challenging even when new - our Coachman has been back to the dealer for a valet because it was rubbish on handover, and the roof is still not good enough for a new ‘van! One area you didn’t cover, and which annoys me on ours, is the area around and under the roof vents and skylights (?) - easy enough on the biggy I suppose, but how the flip does one tackle the ickle ones? Anyway, great video Aaron and kudos for showing us some stark reality that we all probably shy away from! Important point though, at least keep the solar panel cleaned regularly... 👍🏻 😉 ✅

so you cleaned the roof...and then the crud washed down the sides of the van ...did you wash the whole van or just the roof?

I thought it looked canny. We got a new to us van and they had done sides and some of the roof. Parts of it are still quite dirty. I need a new ladder to sort those parts out. The back of the van we filthy because those parts on the roof weren't clean enough. Soon winter so might clean it just before goes into winter seaason.

It's a hard job Aaron and imagine my 8m long roof and 8foot wide! Now that's why I ask my light weight brother in law to help me 😊
