Great video and spot on with the items mentioned. We also have a motorhome of similar size and yes it is so easy to set up and pull down. We also have gone to National Parks, Seaside carparks, the centre of small country towns etc and everything is at the tips of your fingers. So easy and convenient. We also have done both ie tow a caravan and drive a Motorhome. The winner :- easy the motorhome. We also have watched others in big dual axle caravans and yes it takes an hour to set up. We can be set up in 10 minutes. Which reminds me what is a holiday for? Simple to take it easy & enjoy time out. One should not have to spend ages setting up a caravan. Motorhome every step.

Electric fold up bikes.....all we need. By the time you buy a tow car $$$ set it up to be able to tow $$$ Pay the rego $$$ pay the insurance $$$ (is there extra insurance on the motorhome because you are towing $$$) cover the cost of extra fuel used while towing $$$....it all adds up. Then you have the hassle of parking on your travels....the cost of more than one park space...yes, you get fined for taking 2 or 3 if you don't pay for the extras....so many things with towing..... We just find it easier to use the e bikes...and if you want to go somewhere the bikes or the motorhome can't take you....HIRE a 4wd with the money you saved on not towing.... Motorhome over car and van...every time.....the car option has some appeal for longer stays, but overall...we'll never change. each to their own, and I can respect that.

When you are in a campground with no designated spot for a few days ore more and you want to do some exploring in your motorhome but want to come back to that campground, do you leave something in you spot to let people know you are coming back to that spot later that day. Maybe a small sign, etc?

Love love love this video. We’ve just decided that when my gf retires it a few years , we’re selling up, buying a motorhome & hitting the road permanently. I’ve told my adult girls, not the granddaughters just yet, & they love the idea & want to meet where ever we are at the time for holidays. In the meantime, I’m doing my research on the do’s & don’ts of life on the road & have found some great fb groups that are a well of info. Great video. Subscribed (390) watched & liked. We’ve just gone from caravans to our first little Motorhome and love it. Love being able to just turn the key and go. Also nice not to have to hook and unhook from the car. Most of all no more stressful reversing into small sites. Safe travels 😃👍

I started this lifestyle 6 years ago with a 9m motorhome and a Suzuki Vitara. Being from a bricks-n-sticks background, I thought I needed the room, even though I am by myself. After 12 months I went down to a 7m motorhome, still with the Suzuki behind. Another 12 months and I went to the dark side and bought a 4.3m caravan. The caravan has worked for me because I tend to stay in one place for a week or more. That is when having a tow car comes in handy. I recently stayed in one spot for 4 weeks. In my opinion (for what it is worth), I think if you are travelling every day or two, a motorhome works well. A caravan comes in to it's own if you want to stop in one place for longer periods of time. At the beginning of this year I had a major (almost fatal) heart attack, which threw a spanner in the works. Yes I can still handle the caravan setup etc, but it is a lot more tiring than it used to be. I think my ideal now would be a 7m 4x4 van (VW, Mercedes), but unfortunately that is out of my price range now that I am unable to work. So for now I will continue with the caravan and buying a lotto ticket every week.

Motorhome for we retirees! Eighteen months after new and 21,000 km on the clock across four states - unfortunately, Covid restrictions did limit us. Grandchildren love school holiday trips with us. Agree with you re the advantages. My wife and I are working through your travels to give us ideas. The caravan pullers always unhitch and take their FWD to places we can never reach so I prefer watching video by motorhome travellers! Many thanks.

Great video, we’re planing on doing “The Lap” and researching RV options. Seems like the old RWD will go anywhere. So many FWD motor homes out there. But I like how yours seems to go anywhere. Looking forward to checking out your other videos 👍

With the Motor Home you need to tow a small car. With the Caravan, you just unhook your truck. Real toss up, I agree. Comparing Apples to Apples, size wise, for me the caravan. Just so I don’t have to tow a vehicle ❤️
