Great vid mate!! I've always wanted to check out this hotel (my extended family is in Saigon). Thanks for the video tour, and thanks for referring to the city as Saigon. Your more recent vids with spoken commentary instead of just subtitles + music are way better in my opinion, so I'm super glad you're speaking in your vids now ;)

Thanks for watching! We have changed our format just a bit in our newer videos to make it a better experience for our viewers that use subtitles… but a Vietnamese based reviewer we are for sure! Lots more to come- aiming for 60 reviews in 2021.

I stayed there once, it was nice, breakfast was outstanding, pool area nice, location is superb. But I generally stay at the new world in Saigon. I love their lounge and their location is outstanding

our favourite Saigon hotel is right behind the Caravelle - Sheraton Saigon with a great customer team and friendly GM Scott Hodgetts . I believe that he had left Sheraton Saigon & replaced by a new GM

I’m curious to visit the Sheraton now that it’s been renovated inside- prior to that, I always thought the interiors were quite dated. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

@@tfft the latest news that Scott Hodgetts the old GM of Sheraton now move over to become the GM for Caravelle. Caravelle held a special memory for myself. My uncle was married there some 45 years ago before the communist took over Saigon

I was there at the peak of Covid and such things were not allowed to be open (if they did have the facilities). I would contact them directly to find out. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Currently using a combination of iPhone 12PM and GoPro 9 (this video had some low light issues... still learning!). Adding a DJI Mavic Mini 2 for the trip I’m going on today!

If the location is suitable my favorite (and I think best value) is the Nikko. For more centrally located though I’d go with the Caravelle, Park Hyatt or Intercontinental (hotel more so then residences). Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Would you choose Caravelle over Intercontinental considering the location and good restaurants surrounding it?

Caravelle location is far superior, but in reality just a 10 minute walk from each other.

Video is well made but it's too similar to "The Luxury Travel Expert" channel (the structure, the BGM, the subtitles,...)

Thanks for watching and yes- we’ve already changed a bit of the format in our 3 most recent videos to make it easier to use real cc subtitles without us publishing text in the actual video. As for the structure, TLTE does a great job highlighting properties and we aim to do the same, but for a much broader range of hotels and resorts!
