@@squarebodyblake4464 for sure man, you do you. Maybe I'll do a video like yours for my 2022 update. Hopefully I'll have that new edelbrock in my hands soon so I can go through it. I can tune any holley but lets see how that edelbrock performs

Do yourself a favor and get rid of the msd coil packs. They suck.

@@squarebodyblake4464 I replaced one the first thousand miles, the rest went out randomly. I've always ran msd products but these really let me down a didn't notice a improvement over the stock coils.

My stock c10 fried a freshly built tranny as soon as I bought the truck, said something about high rpms burning it out, so I had it rebuilt by the same shop who gave me a huge discount and it’s been running great since, however I’ve lost trust in the transmission and I’m scared to take it above 3200rpm in top Gear worried that I’ll break it again haha. Did I just get unlucky at first or do I just drive like a knob?? Haha it does have a tranny cooler too so I’m surprised my 170hp engine managed to cause issues with the tranny

I put a 5.3 Ls in my ranger I promise you it was a lot meaner and more reliable than the 302 I put in it but tbh it now has a 428fe edit 85 ranger mini truck

How so? Looking at Precision Transmission videos they dont look much easier than anything else of that era.

@@TOMVUTHEPIMP Well of that "era" I think the 904's/727's are the easiest to rebuild/reassemble, but that just depends on who ever you ask. But compared to today's transmissions, the old 60's designs are fairly simple, I guess??? I rebuilt my first transmission, a TH350, when I was 17, but I had a pro there to give me some pointers as I went. The best way I think to do them is to get a rebuild kit for it first. Then take them apart on a really long bench and just lay all the parts out on the bench exactly how they came out. Then just clean/rebuild each section, clean valve body, flush out converter if it can be flushed, or better yet, just replace it, and replace any worn-out/damaged parts with good ones. And then reassemble the whole thing back together exactly how it came apart. That's how I used to do em back in my day.
