Wolves bloody booed and whistled when they heard this!!! Skinhead mobs from Smethwick, Tipton, Dudley, West Brom Wednesbury wanted this to be played on the Brummie Road end. Albion played it at least one week before the tatters. Close between Albion and Chelsea but Albion played at the same time (when first released) if not before Chelsea. The skinhead West Brom girls in the BRE started clapping and shouting 'West brom'...and everyone joined in. Everyone just had a laugh about it - unadulterated joy you could say...it was fun and felt so right - this was THE TUNE for us. Others started looking at us and craning their heads over and more and more people joined in. When it finished the Brummie called for it to be played again. So it got played again. Next time, everyone did the clapping and singing 'West Brom'. I am sure it was then played about THREE or FOUR times in a row!

I was in that away end. Remember it well. My Dad went to the toilet during this and I was just standing having it! Got the coach there and back. It was a 0-0 draw.

Chelsea, Wolves and West Brom all claim the Liquidator as there own. Truth is a Birmingham DJ employed to play half time music was employed by both West Brom and Wolves around the same time and he played it at both grounds. He also did jaunts in London and was employed by Chelsea where he played the music there too before returning back to Birmingham. Arguing over who's song it was first is pretty childish really.

To whoever it was that said the atmosphere there was amazing, you must be deaf. I have had a season ticket at Cardiff since I was six and I'm now 22. Ninian Park was a million miles a better atmosphere than this ground and especially last weeks game against West Brom was like a library. So much so I apologised to the travelling West Brom fans on their TeamTalk page. Normally the atmosphere at the CCS is great but game was dreadful!
