This is a comment to note. The problem is that the majority of Ireland want all the teams to play the same game style. Apparently to be in line with the national team. When they saw Munster changed to a pack orientated style, while increasing their defence skills, everyone criticised them. They want Munster to run every ball. They forget that when you play strong teams that running every ball is not the best thing. Now you need to win rucks, line-outs and scrums. Munster coach Van Graan was a good thing for Ireland but they are blinded by expansive rugby. Van Graan will coach Bath Springbok skills that Ireland don't want. It reminds me of when SA played the British & Irish Lions. NZ's coach Ian Foster said in the media that he didn't bother to study SA then and fell asleep during the matches. That was his biggest mistake. The boks dominated against NZ. His assistent coach, Plumbstead warned them but no one listened.

I would argue that their third team losing by only 2 points actually supports that idea

It wasn't given for the tackle in the video. It was for a tackle on Evans, the clip in the video shows when the tmo confirmed it was high mate.

And the Ulster tackle on Tom Rogers? They just don't like it when a Welsh team wins. They cling to every justification possible in order to not lose face.

If you'd seen the whole game rather than these highlights, you wouldn't be questioning it. The tackle was at the ruck before, clearly high and entirely consistent with a penalty he'd given against Lloyd Williams around 10 minutes previously.

As a Leinster supporter most of the whinging comes from what we call the Roman supporters, around when were doing well but nowhere to be seen over the years when Leinster were struggling!
