i was born with this. and haven't find out until one day when i was in 1 grade and i was very tired and couldn't stay awake . and i was rush to the hospital and ... after a few months after wat happen me and me and my mom decide to go to the hospital to see what's wrong with me and they said i have this condition. and now im worry bc I havent went to the doctor to see how my heart doing for a very few year and my mom doesn't care at all. she doesn't love me anymore bc we hated each other now and im just waiting until one day my heart will stop pumping bc I'm tired of gasping for air . i cant breathe i ran out of breathe everyday. i cant live

Thank you so much for your easily understood information. I am under care of a heart specialist, monitoring my heart. I had a congenital heart defect, which was 🤔diagnosed ay the age of 14. I was born in 1954, so I am approaching 64 1/2 Yrs young ☺️Throughout my childhood up to this point, I suffered chronic bronchitis.throughout the winters, and also some other seasons , so my health condition was compromised. Entering my early teens, I was experiencing additional symptoms, Shortness of breath walking up stairs, overall weakness, major stress, and I began having panic attacks, (school workload was overkill in a parochial scho during my sleep, breathlessas my Dad had suffered two heart attacks doctors never picked up the heart murmur, throughout all of those years, so I was quite a sickly girl most of my life. Dad smoked heavily, was an alcoholic, yet was a loving wondeDad. Both my Mom and Dad provided a caring environment.

I don't know if I have this or not but I am waiting to see a cardiologist as me heart is acting weirdly haha. In January (I don't know whether this is related to my heart or not), I was on a trip with my college course (Level 2 Media), we were interviewing police in a police station and we were in the custody suite where they ask all the questions, I remember listening to the police officer tell us what exactly goes on in there, but I started feeling sick (thinking it would pass, because I normally feel sick if I'm standing up too long, I have low blood pressure) my vision started going weird, I couldn't hear anything, I was trying to tell my friend to get the tutor but all I could do was point and say "get, get, get" so I decided to tap my tutor and he asked me what was wrong and I said I don't feel well and he asked which way and I said "faint" so he took me out to the corridor and things got worse, I lost my vision completely, my hearing went again and while I was walking my legs felt like they were being pulled down by weights and they felt stiff, I started to come out of it, I felt the blood rushing back to my face again, and I slept for about 8 hours after it. Valentine's week, on the Sunday, I had this huge headache and by the Wednesday it was worse so I went to the ER and the triage nurse checked me and said "is your heart normally this fast?" And I said no, so she was like "ok so as you can see we are busy but I'm going to try and find you a bed" then she came back and said "we don't have a bed available yet but I have prioritised you" so I went back to the waiting room and within 5 minutes I was called and put onto a resus bed, I was put on oxygen and a really strong painkiller drip, I got sent home 4 hours after that. The next day I was back in the ER, they diagnosed me with tachycardia (fast heart rate) and migraines. I was back in the next week and they said that I was still tachycardic, I took another 'turn' but this time I just felt like I had rikimortis (if that's how you spell it, its what you get when you die) and my mum felt my hand and I was stone cold, I felt sick as well but the doctor's didn't do anything. A few days after that, I was at home, and I took 2 more turns (near enough the same as the one I took in January). Last Monday (May), I got up out of bed, and felt sick again, and the same turn happened again so I couldn't go to college, I took another one straight after that so I went back to bed, then in the afternoon I took another turn. I keep getting severe dizzy spells and I am drinking loads of water. I can also feel my own heart beating constantly and I get chest pain now and again but my doctor told me not to worry about it. My GP thinks it's all either to do with my heart or low blood pressure, he also thinks the low blood pressure has something to do with the heart. I just want to know what's causing it all and hopefully get some sort of treatment to make these turns, migraines, chest pains and dizzy spells to stop.

hello guys I believe I am suffering from this... just coming from the emergency room and by the electrocardiogram and stethoscope check everything was fine. but I feel terrible extremely fatigued and a discomfort feeling on the heart area. Do you know any other methods to check to be sure about this?

Thank you for sharing. Is left ventricular dysfunction defined as left sided heart failure? What about both systolic and diastolic failure Grade 1? Is the Grading of heart failure based on the echo? Is not just a heart impairment? Is diastolic failure Grade 1 normal as we age? And is an enlarged heart "heart failure" or "cardiomyopathy??? Whats the difference between Heart failure and Congestive Heart failure? What if the patient suffers from both systolic and diastolic impairment, but EF is low normal, for around ten years, but suffers breathlessness, lightheadedness upon minimal physical task such as cleaning a mirror? Very confusing when reading the definitions. Some HF patients are normal active others not so active and limited even if EF is normal, why is that? Thank you.

one would think that the heart looks like such a simple device why hasn't a mechanical heart been created with a pump type like that found in everyday fish aquariums that by experience lasts for five or more years non stop twenty four hours a day? with computor to control the pumping action from signsl from the lungs , so as long as your breathing the computor would get that signal and trigger the heart to pump the required amount to sufficient the body with blood supply. Its the same type of computor device that powers and controls the air and fuel and timing on a car engine. Most likely such a device has already been created but is kept from society to help control population .my two cents werth.☺

I've been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and a left branch bundle block at the age of 28 I'm 55 now....i was hurt on the job and blewout my l5 s1 the insurance company is freaking out because they pulled my records and found out and now we're in court......long story short I think they're going to let me die......ive lost 50lbs. In 3 months,I hack and spit up at least 16 oz. A day I have heavy lungs Any advice to stay sane? And if you do read this just know I'm not bummed out about it....i've known for a long time.
