FREECOM 2X with JBL speakers Com is well assembled and I'm here to give advice for very CRUCIAL part of installing Freecom and is about speakers position! Me and my wife have same helmets in different sizes. Her is XS and mine is XL ( I have a bigger brain 😉) They are SHARK Spartan Carbon. Helmet has pre fabricated position for speakers inside inner shell. First I fitted speakers inside her helmet and I returned padings back for her to try it and see if speakers bother her somehow. There was no bother and I stuck my finger inside to see if it's relative to her ear. The speaker was 1.5 cm behind ear!! I took knife and I cuted inner shell so I can move speaker forward. I did it right and speakers are on the ear spot on!! Then I had my helmet testing with speakers positioned on pre fabricated slots. It fits PERFECT! So it means that I DID'NT HAD TO MODIFY my inner shell at all! Conclusion: It is CRUCIAL to test position of speakers before attaching everything! When you do that right, you will be stisfied as I am 🥳 Sound is awesome and be patient with installation!!

This was a pain in the ass! Evidently my Arai helmet doesn't have these speaker holes like shown in the video. When I inserted them in anyway, it made the inside of the helmet so tight, I had to improvise and glue the velcro attachments inside after creating a hole in it to fit it in as it didn't attach to the fabric. These aren't designed for some helmets.

Hey guys, that last step is pretty important. I hooked everything up, no music, I'm like wtf, did I break something. Almost took it all apart. Nope, just that connection in the back wasn't connected. I put back of the device in first and then clicked in front. Worked right away

Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. Even though my primary interest isn't to talk on the phone while riding, the 2X paired with my phone fine. But I'm having trouble pairing with a Bluetooth adapter (is it YMOO?). I purchased the 2X mainly so that I could get audio alerts from my Radenso DS1 radar detector. Is there something special that I need to do to pair with the Bluetooth adapter?

Need Help thx. My phone keeps dropping out of Bluetooth all the time with the cardo FreeCom 4x why is this ?? cant here music ?? google maps voice won't work as well. Not Happy with this unit only a couple of months old. please HELP.

How much is the real range between two devices

Been on a few rides with my 4X now. Listening to music via my phone. Noticed the unit has changed to the radio setting all by itself, no button/voice command. I’ve observed this error happen about 3 times now. Any idea why this might be happening?
