Congratulations: you just gave birth to your baby! But let’s face it: your belly still looks like you are 6 months pregnant… So, when will it go away?
In this video, Nathalie Kaufmann, Pregnancy and Birth Consultant and TCM Therapist, and Mathias Ritter, Researcher and Science Geek, discuss when exactly a postpartum belly will go away.
First, they share with you exactly how much weight you lost during your delivery. And they also explain why your “pregnancy belly” still exists after you gave birth to your baby.
Next, they explain the factors that determine how long it is going to take to lose your postpartum belly. Moreover, they share with you several things that you can do to get rid of your postpartum belly.
Finally, they also tell you why some women face the problem that their postpartum belly gets bigger, rather than smaller, when they breastfeed their baby and what you have to do to avoid it.

Unfortunately I was not able to breast feed because of various reasons (trust me tried really hard) so now I’m almost two years in and I look pregnant every day. It’s quite depressing considering I have been doing DR workouts, I even tried intermittent fasting but I didn’t see any improvement.

Good timing! 😁 I gave birth 2 weeks ago. I was 4 days in the hospital and came home 10 kg lighter. Now my weight is only 3 kilos more than before getting pregnant, but my older children keep asking if there is still a baby inside my belly because I still have bump. 😅🙈
