I joined through a special ops recruiter to do eod with just a GED and they accepted it so you should be good, I think it’s just some jobs in the Air Force that have the credit requirement with GED

The primary mission for EOD is supporting aircraft/airfield so it would be unlikely for it to be pulled away from Civil Engineering anytime soon

@@DJ-zb8bb I agree. My dad was AF EOD, me and him talk about how far the AF side of EOD has come and potentially the future of it's capabilities. Though like you said there capabilities are geared towards a combat support role with aircraft/airfields making sure they can safely operate. @@ernestocontreras7626 😂😂😂 okay buddy. There's a very high attrition rate my guy. Not just for PJ, any special ops job. Your not smart if you don't have a back up plan just in case. Obviously the goal is spec ops. You can be ruled out of spec ops for a number of reasons.

If you wash out you will most likely go to security forces, where you can go DAGRE and will be afsoc and roll with Pjs, seals and all the other SF
