A panel discussion to explore the motivations, challenges and relationships that helped a diverse group of women make a major career transition, either switching careers or starting a venture of their own.
With:
- Emme, reporter who transition to being a supermodel, spokesperson for women and body image issues, entrepreneur, philanthropist
- Stephanie Ruhle Hubbard, is a former managing director Deutsche Bank, where she founded the women's networking program for global markets. She is now an anchor on Bloomberg Television, serving as co-host of "Market Makers" and contributor to "Lunch Money."
- Miki Agrawal, former investment banker who transitioned to being a restaurant owner
- Angela Vitaliano, who transitioned from being a journalist in Naples, Italy to having a multidisciplinary career in New York City that includes her journalism for a variety of Italian publications as well as her philanthropic work in the advancement of women in business as an active Co-Founder of TWC-NYC.
- Lesley Townsend Duval, who transitioned from a career in the food and wine world, in which (among other things) she served as the founding director of Astor Wines & Spirits' acclaimed educational facility, Astor Center, to starting the Manhattan Cocktail Classic, an annual 5 dayconsumer festival and trade conference in New York City.
