I took care of my grandmother during the last stage of her life. Eldercare is really no joke. It takes a lot of effort. Thank you to all of those people in the eldercare sector.

I love how you guys replaced the word 'OCD' with the word 'more particular' at 1:25, acknowledging that OCD has a heavier meaning that was not fitting to how they used there.

I was in eldercare sector before. It's tough but whenever you see the smile on the senior's face or little progress that the seniors are making, it's all worth it. The problem in the eldercare sector is the low payscale. The community is aging. The pay needs to be increased in order to attract and retain more staff to support the aging community.

What did your question mean by 'how does it work'? Are you enquiring on the grounds of the elderly who requires the community care, or their next-of-kin enquiring about such services, or how does a job seeker to get oneself into a career in the community care sector?

Volunteer in nursing home is not a must for people who got own parent to take care. We saw some elderly shouted fiercely that they want money at mall. Look like scammer but no one will suspect elderly. I think if people who want to volunteer will volunteer. Don't go shouting at people saying they talk on behalf of their mother. They always appear during exschoolmate gathering. But asking school volunteer student to shield them from elderly man is already too much

Some of the elderly are NOT worth caring for as they were ex-gangsters from the 1970s!! They have been to jail and are rude, ill-mannered, full of vulgarities and rough, vile behaviour!

Regardless of the individual's past, the community care sector is still part of the bigger healthcare sector. This sector extends help to one's health & psycho-social needs (NEEDS, not wants) especially for the frail elderly whose circumstances don't allow them to live independently, or for those with special needs (dementia, physical / mental disabilities etc). It's just like how paramedics, doctors, nurses, therapists etc won't turn away from treating a casualty or patient just cos the casualty/patient is a vile to society. Whether or not one is worth caring for, isn't a concern for healthcare / community care workers to judge. Oh heck, I have almost & sometimes literally been pinched, punched, kicked, spat at, hurled vulgarities at & even an outrage of modesty while working in the community care sector, but those unpleasant experiences doesn't take away the fact that these are the people who need help & care by professionals, & I'm here to serve them, it's my obligation there.
