How to Make an Easy Pasta Bake//Husband Cooks Last Minute Valentines Day Dinner!

Happy Valentines Day!
Easy Pasta Bake Recipe:
Box of Penne Pasta
Pasta Sauce
1 Can diced tomatoes
ricotta cheese
spinach (blanched)
1/2 onion
3 cloves garlic
mozzarella
Parmesan cheese
Mix together in a bowl ricotta, blanched spinach, onion, garlic, and mozzarella.
Boil pasta for 10 minutes and drain. Transfer to a baking pan. Layer the ricotta mix and add diced tomatoes and pasta sauce. Lastly, add Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes (covered). Take off cover and bake for another 10 minutes. (if you want your onions softer, fry in a pan before adding them to the ricotta mix.)

I made this tonight! Reid is a genius! Easy and delicious. This recipe is a keeper. I listened to Cari's tip about adding meat. I added ground Italian sausage, and it was a perfect addition. My son and husband at all the leftovers and they never eat leftovers! ❤

I will make this for the kids. Valentines day for us is all about family. We dont go out but we eat regular meal together nothing special. But this makes me hungry. Cari, chopping board is beautiful. Does your bro in law sell it?

Hi Cari! Great V-Day dinner. I watched the Sumo Food channel on YT and made pork belly kakuni and put it over udon for our V-Day dinner. I used pork butt do it would be less fatty. My wife approved! Happy Valentine Day belated!👏
