I think he stood a chance. Somewhere around 60/40 . 40 for carl. I'm American so I don't prefer either guy.

Calzaghe will always be held in higher regard than Carl but let's not forget how great Frochy was.He fought the toughest of world class opposition back to back and has arguarbly the best resume of fighters on his record of any British fighter apart from Lennox Lewis.

I’ll be really honest I hated Groves during the 2 fight period ( despite preying him to Degale in that fight) but ffs he’s a great guy and grown massively in retirement every credit to both of them for making this work 👊🏻🇬🇧❤️
