Gabby is coming off as a puppet. The whole time you could see that the personalities were so different. Carl and Lindsay weren’t compatible. Life would have been hell if they went through with it. Personality wise they couldn’t give what each other needed.

West initially came across well but seeing the way he speaks on the After Show and in his confessionals has shown him in a different light. He's been a good addition to the show, but I really do dislike the way he's so dismissive of Ciara's feelings and concerns in these interviews (and how he didn't have the guts to be totally upfront to her face and instead left a lot of things to just confessionals and the After Show). In contrast Ciara was always upfront with him from the very start, something even he admits. Ciara wanting to know if West saying I love you and inviting her to meet his parents actually means something isn't some weird thought process, it's what anyone with any degree of maturity would wonder too. Ciara is being perfectly rational and it's alarming that West seems so immature about even the most straightforward things and misrepresents them. He doesn't seem to be able to handle even the slightest push back. I also don't think West was completely honest with Ciara about just how bad his commitment issues are, and from what he's said on the After Show it sounds like he doesn't ever want to have the responsibility of an actual adult relationship with anyone. During the season I really did find a lot of moments with Ciara and West cute and a slow burn is far more interesting to me because not everything needs to be rushed. It seems like Ciara and West dated for a bit after filming ended, but it looks like West's commitment issues and immaturity probably became an issue the more it progressed (especially when West has mentioned that even his parents are concerned about his ongoing fear of commitment). Ciara definitely deserves better and I wish her all the best. She first came on this show when she was 24 and I appreciate that she's someone who actually wants to learn from the past and keep growing. West has received so much excessive praise these last few months so his ego is surely going through the roof even more. He turns 30 this year and it sounds like he'll be another Bravo man trying to be Peter Pan into his 40s.

Nope 100% in reality she wasn’t blindsided. In her perception she was, but Karl was pretty clear on many occasions about his feelings, but she wasn’t hearing it. She would not listen. I was proud of Karl for being proactive about his feelings and not letting her convince him he was wrong or unthoughtful.

Gabbie and Lindsey are so delusional. They had mulitple conversations about doubts this season. We all just watched and it was clear as day.

I think it's pretty disheartening how dismissive West is about almost any of Ciara's concerns or questions regarding him and their situation. From the start she was very open about her intentions and what she would expect out of it and I don't think he truly ever heard her or cared to hear her. It felt at times that he was just hoping that he could keep doing what he wanted to do and eventually she would like him so much that she would just let those things slide. No hate to West, I actually really think he is a good addition to the show BUT he does have an inability to take accountably and down plays every thing to make them not seem as important even if Ciara has clearly stated it is important to her.

I don’t think she intentionally tries to be dishonest but her perception of things is never totally congruent with reality. Carl was unfairly judged based on Scandavol. After watching the show, and seeing their constant fighting, he definitely made the right decision. The fact that Lindsay is still not taking any responsibility for her part, and instead making herself the victim, which is ridiculous based on her personality, shows she has alot of work to do before being able to have a healthy relationship.

Lindsay just wanted to be married and have a baby... It didn't have to be Carl. He was in a weird place after his brother died and he got clean.

If you watch the episode where they break up, Lindsay actually broke up with Carl. I didn’t hear him say that he wanted to break up. I heard him say that he wasn’t ready to get married two months later. That to me sounds like he wanted to postpone the wedding. Nevertheless they are both better off not marrying each other. They just weren’t right for each other. I wish them both the best, but I wish Lindsay would learn to take accountability for her own actions, but I don’t see that happening as she doesn’t think she makes mistakes.

The women's micro expressions in the final scene was priceless. My main tip for them in conflict would be - don't interrupt, breathe and slow down, create space to support the other person expressing their needs, and truly listen. His comment on feeling crazy and her alternate reality is always a clue someone is in an abusive relationship. There may be moments where the truth is shown, but then the rosy colored glasses come back on so that's why I think he often seemed out of sorts. He had moments of clarity but not enough to fully understand what was happening. Lindsay is way more invested in her story than connection, though I can see she was trying but she's clearly just more used to being in or around abuse and doesn't have the same alarm bells going off that he did. Excited for the reunion!
