I agree with Assad. I don't think subsequent supermodels, if you can really even call them that, equalled the glamour and luminosity of the the models of the 90s, and I certainly don't think they were more iconic., with a few notable exceptions.

She was very smart and well educated, she belong to a wealthy or noble family who brought up her in very mannered way. She spoke many languages and she was sophisticated... not only a good looking girl. She was born with that body figure, she didn't starved or had plastic surgery. Flo Victoria She had her lips and nose done, pretty sure that’s it. She’s lost a shit ton of weight. Her cheekbones were not nonexistent, in some pictures they look to be but in other pictures you can see she’s always had defined cheekbones. I’d estimate her BMI before was like 21-22, she was skinny but not model skinny. Now she’s definitely underweight, like a 17 BMI at most. So of course her face looks a lot skinnier.

My dad passed and he worked in submarines and marine biology and was on national geographic and the Discovery channel a few times and after he died I would search videos looking for him in the background or to hear his voice. I know that Bella looks a lot like Carla Bruni but honestly as a person who has gotten plastic surgery ... it is essentially impossible to ask your plastic surgeon to make you look like someone if you don’t already have some similar features. Not everyone who gets a nose job and a fox eye and loses weight is gonna look like Carla. I think that Bella owes a lot to plastic surgery, but I don’t think that they actively were trying to make her look like anyone, cause again unless you were born with some of the right traits- it would just be impossible. Ps: if ur planning on getting plastic surgery and ur surgeon tells u that they can make u look like a celebrity - get a different surgeon

@@sude5075 I didn’t quite get your last sentence, did you mean who would want their upper lip bigger? Honestly, that’s not such an uncommon thing ... I’ve gotten lip filler before and requested that myself, it creates for a more pouty look and it’s great if you wanna add more lengthening to your face. Also, I actually don’t think Bella gets lip fillers- seeing the shape of her lips and how it looks like when she talks, more signs point towards her getting a lip lift which can make one lip appear bigger than the other!

No! Instagram culture and nepotism did that (I mean, Kendall Jenner does not have the face, walk, cadence or charisma to be a supermodel, yet...here we are)! BUT....looking like Carla doesn't hurt! Bella's mother was model in her youth when the 90s models were celebrities, so she probably had a preconceived idea of what she wanted her kids to look like (as models) and got them the surgery to make it happen.

There’s nothing wrong with plastic surgery but it’s unethical and just insulting to lie and say it was all “puberty”. Not to mention how awkward it is that she basically had Carla’s face copy/pasted onto hers.
