excellent video, thank you Dan. Detailed and well explained, appreciate it. A new commuter kit is in my future for my 7.3.

I have a feeling these 7.3s with setups like these, proper caretaking will be around for several years as a lot of Fords are, and well over 350,000 miles.

MiMi wants a 7.3 Carli suspension. That sounds like the plan for me. Get me on the list!

Could we get the part number for those extra heavy duty 2000# load springs please? Alot of us haul heavy, and would like the simplicity of heavier springs vs troublesome bags.

How long before the torsion sway bar is available for the 2011-2016 Super Duty’s? And ball joints for the super duty’s?

Didn’t y’all have an intro on a video with the pintop piston rolling around on a weld table? Can’t find it anymore.

That was a Super Duty video from a LONG time ago. It was removed from KZfaq as it had Social Distortion background music. It was made before we knew how to make videos circa 2011, lol.

I have a 2020 Ford F-250 7.3L with you backcountry level kit with radius arms and complete Carli sway bar. Stock springs in the rear. The kit I have is for the diesel trucks. My question is since the gas springs have a 20% less spring rate then the diesel spring. Would the ride change that much to warrant replacing the springs and shocks? If so besides the springs and shocks what else would have to be replaced. Thanks.

How do you like that 7.3/10speed so far?
@MrMike40733 жыл бұрын
Mark my last two SD’s were diesel. Since I don’t really tow my toy box anymore I don’t need the extra power. But still wanted a full size truck to tow my boat and the toy box if needed. Love the fact it is soo much cheaper to maintain. Love the sound of a big V8. To be honest it’s feels easier to drive. Probably because the 7.3 is almost 700lbs lighter in the front then the diesel. The 10 speeds really lets you open the 7.3 up when needed. I’m very happy with it.

Just traded in my 2019 Ford F-250 diesel for 2021 Ford F-250 7.3 gas and have the backcountry level kit but never get chance to install them on the diesel.Was wondering how the ride and fitment since it being for diesel setup and I see that you install them on your 7.3? Thanks
@MrMike40733 жыл бұрын
@@vinnyk3245 At first it was stiffer then then my last two diesels. One was stock and one had a fab tech lift. I have put 43k+ miles on my 2020 now and love the way it rides. I prefer a firm ride in the front. But it does feel like it has settled down or maybe I’m just use to it. The sway bar set up really helps to. I was thinking of having the gas set put on, but after talking to Carli the gas system is about 30% lower spring rate. I didn’t want to chance changing it and not liken it. Maybe I will change my mind if I ride in a 7.3 F250 with the gas kit.

Is the Carli suspension considered 3 or 4 link suspension or something a little different?
@thecarlisuspension2 жыл бұрын
The factory suspension is a 3-link; we maintain this design. (Track bar and Radius Arms)

@@rigs7412 I am curious as to the reason(s) you do not like Ford trucks. Do you not like Ford engines.....or the truck??? Maybe you don't dislike either...but really like the General Motors LS gas engines.....or you prefer the DuraMax over the Powerstroke? Maybe your Dad drove Chevrolet and or GMC trucks...and that is the reason for your bias?
