This composer's music is actually far more complicated than it sounds. There is a lot going on here. Great post.

I'm glad to know you're there. Guastavino is an excellent composer who preserved the melodic discourse of traditional Argentine styles. The texture of his pieces is usually complex and very interesting. Thank you for your presence!

@@DavidA-ps1qr Dear David. I am glad to hear from you!!! I'm sorry for family problems, they are usually impossible to avoid. It's summer here and supposedly it's the vacation period. I never rest, but the schedules during this time are a little more flexible. I'm preparing another post to schedule on KZfaq. Maybe at the end of January or beginning of February. No. En este caso la pregunta sería "¿Orquestador?". La obra es original de Carlos Guastavino. Orquestada por él mismo.

@@RobertoPintos ok. gracias por la informacion y perdon si no manejo bien el idioma castellano. que la obra es original sabia, que el mismo la orquesto (asi se escribe?) - eso no la sabia. yo mismo orquesti (asi se escribe ) 2 de las 10 cantilenas Argentinas para piano, y recien grabe el primer movimiento de la 1. sonata para guitarra.

Mis disculpas, Ronen, no sabía que tu idioma natal no es español, pero escribes muy bien. Sí, se dice: Él orquestó Y para referirse a uno mismo: Yo orquesté (La tilde, el acento sobre la vocal modifica el tiempo verbal). Qué interesante que hayas orquestado parte del trabajo de Guastavino. Espero poder escucharlo pronto!!! Muchas gracias por tu participación en mí canal.

That's OK. Just a typing error, yes. Did he have children? Anyway thank you for your great job. Composers continue being alive as long as we listen to their music. And there are many of them who are not well known but deserve to be.
