Totally okay if they are I just thought it was a stupid conclusion to make because if it was a same-sex friendship it wouldn't have been an issue.))

I honestly don’t get why people have a problem with Carly and Freddie getting together. I understand people can have an opinions but it obviously this show proved that they have a chance. Sam Wasn’t a good girlfriend. Carly and Freddie got closer over the years. I wouldn’t mind if they stayed as friends but it’s mostly likely they’re going to get together eventually.

I'm generally okay with either Carly and Freddie staying friends or getting together, but I do wonder if Carly's struggles dating in the new series are meant to be some kind of foreshadowing. She's always struggled in the romance department, and it makes me think maybe the problem is that she's ultimately denying herself the person she really wants --- Freddie. I think perhaps she does love him romantically but values his friendship so much that she's afraid to make things more complicated than they already are by acknowledging her true feelings. Instead she keeps trying to date other guys in the hope that someone will make her feel as safe and happy as Freddie does, but it never happens because they have a kind of closeness and history that no one else could possibly compete with. Just my theory, anyway.

What the reboot shows is that Carly and Freddie know each other so well that there's nothing they don't know about each other. Carly and Spencer are close but if we see how much Carly knows about Freddie in the final episode of season 2 says I think enough with whom she's closest with. I just hoped we saw Carly being a bit jealous of Pearl so we had an idea that she's in love with Freddie. Yes, the first episode of season 2 gave us a hint that she wanted to kiss Freddie and that she was hurt by seeing Freddie and Pearl kiss. But I guess his happiness is her priority more than hers and shows that she really loves him.

She's gets so jealous when he talks about other girls/flirts with them its so cute to watch

If Freddie and Carly get together, Carly has to be the one to initiate it. I think it would feel a lot more deeper after years of saying she had no feelings, she realizes she does

That was a season finale? I thought it was the second to last for the finale. Ugh I forgot how this show works

I'm not really into the show (OG or revival), but Creddie does intrigue me... It's especially baffling since the show pairs them off with other people, with no strong sense of jealousy, and barely any hints at them having romantic feelings, except to make an awkward joke. And yet everyone wants them together... and I get it. It's the idea of coming back to first love, pining for a best friend for years, shelving your feelings for years, even marrying other people, only to reconnect in a real way. That last scene makes me wonder... did Carly try to make sure Freddy was happy in his other relationships because she thought she could never make him happy in a romantic relationship (given all the times she broke his heart)? Did she ever come between his other relationships? If Freddie secretly still loves Carly, does he resent his own feelings because he thinks she'll never return them and so he throws himself into other relationships to try to move on? Will he be mad at her for accidentally driving Pearl away? Has Carly been pining for Freddie for a long while, and did she know it?

I haven't seen the new show yet. Are they really falling in love finally?

I hated Sam and I hated Seddie Creddie was cannon always She never turned him down- he did! And her feelings were obvious from the beginning. She treated him sweetly and warmly and eventually fell for him and he backed away. Then they kissed and she left for Italy. They are meant to be.
