I liked Creddie in the original series, but I love them even more now as adults. They both have definitely matured and Freddie doesn't have an obsessive crush over her like he use to so they can be in a healthy relationship unlike the original series

So as someone who really disliked creddie as teens, seeing them as adults made me realise just how compatible Carly and Freddie are now. I think they have developed a real respect for each other, and now free of the toxicity of the past, I think they can really work as a couple. Freddie really is the perfect blend of both Wes & Beau. He’s practical and responsible, yet has a real goofy side and understands Carly’s humour. I just think they’d be neat 😅

Sam and Carly were bffs in the show from 2007 till 2013 and back then I was a seddie shipper bc I knew there was a spark between them but when Sam quit acting and didn't come to the reunion I thought maybe there may be a chance for Carly to see Freddie as you know....more than a friend

Eric yes I think it was the best thing for Freddie to do at the time and I think it made Creddie stronger today there’s true love in both Carly’s and Freddie’s eyes for each other today their love for each other is better than ever 🥰😍❤️

@@srrenityy8083 that's why i said it's one of *my* favorite tropes! enemies to lovers was never really my thing. carly and freddie's friendship is being way more explored on the revival than in the original show and i feel like their potential is in the fact that if they're ever going fully into a romantic route again it would feel natural

@@srrenityy8083 no problem, i respect your opinion too! with sam's absence, it must be hard to not have your ship being acknowledged on the revival. anyway, i don't know what are their plans for carly and freddie but as of now, i can see they have really matured since their first relationship and i just enjoy the bond they have created over the years. i guess we'll see where that leads

The way Freddie & Carly are looking at eachother and being still so close will definitely make them endgame. I'm not sure how many seasons there will be with the revival but I'm pretty sure Carly will finally come out and say she loves Freddie. She never said an absolute no to him and their bond is so much more natural than those other guys/girls they've dated.

carly only looked at him for support as sam isn’t in the show anymore. freddie moved closer as carly’s best friend and into her comfort zone so most likely she will go to him for all her help. and since they were already endgame in the last show, i doubt it’ll be endgame now. carly never reciprocated Freddie’s love back, which proves they aren’t suitable to be in a relationship

It was very subtle throughout the first season, but yes, I do think they’re building toward something. One thing to remember is that both of them spent a lot of time in the new series trying to fill the absence of an SO in their lives. And it’s pretty clear they haven’t had these conversation in the years between series.

i think it’s very possible that something happened between carly and freddie off-screen and wes and beau both telling carly “i love you” in front of freddie triggered something for the both of them

that episode was obviously very suspenseful, you can tell based off their faces. freddie has moved on from loving carly and proof is the marriages he went through. if he really loved her, he wouldn’t decide to get married but the childhood part of him obviously still wants her but freddie by now got rid of it now that he’s 29 years old. he’s probably looking forwards to a new relationship.

i don’t think we should make a big deal over the camera movement. it was literally for 1 second. but im pretty sure the reason why carly looked at freddie was because Freddie was in her comfort zone and grew closer as friends now that sam isn’t in the show anymore. this shows no sign of romantic feelings with both characters, there would’ve been a *clear* sign that it did (for example, before the helicopter comes she would say fr- but didn’t finish her sentence)
