gotta love the nba 2k19 allstars out here hating on Melo..... its funny because Kobe, LeBron, paul, all these are superstars that play the game in real life, negate all the hate these so clown preach. Knicks did waste him, they wanted him to shoot less and pass more, he did that his numbers show that. Then they took his shooters away to space the floor and ran a triangle, with no back door screens and no point guard. Enters Phil Jackson the biggest douche ever, he wasn't as great as a coach as people say, he got loucky with Jordan and pippen and shaq and kobe...... Hell Derek fisher can win with that time .... who dares to debate....

They actually had a good chance against Miami. They're style of play gave Miami trouble, almost the same system the Mavs won that beat Miami.
@J-Hue5 жыл бұрын
@@SDSOverfiend I'm saying their play styles exploited the same weaknesses against Miami that the Mavs did, not that they were the same quality. When NY had both Chandler and Sheed healthy, they were almost unstopable. But I agree on the NY-Indy part. The refs sabotaged what was one of the greatest playoff elimination games ever by Melo. NY couldn't buy a call and Indy was getting any and everything to keep them in the game. Melo was about to will them to a game 7 win and a showdown vs Miami and the league wasn't having it.
@SDSOverfiend5 жыл бұрын
@@J-Hue You See it.. 18ft to 46ft? Despite MELO driving and doing every he could on a sprain ankle? Bull.. They was thirsty to make Paul George a star. Had Knicks met THAY Miami team.. Knicks would've been champions.. We was the prototype to this current GS team. Vicious 3pt attack.. Defense, ISO scoring, vertical spacing, Knicks was giving out work.. Stern would see none of it.

Carmelo Anthony was amazing and I felt like he could have been even better. He was a very capable defender, but I dont think like he tried his hardest. I always loved when he blocked shots, he had great anticipation sometimes. He was a great rebounder too, with his size and strength. And an underrated and understated part of his game was his play making. Of course he had handles and I feel like he was a good passer. But alas Melo was about getting BUCKETS. Post scoring, mid range, layups, he was absolutely unstoppable. Glad he was a Knick, wanted him to win a chip. But the Knicks should have waited till he was a free agent. Then they would have actually had a team to help him. Knicks gone Knicks though. I'm just mad he never got a chip, and that he faded away like he did. He really disappointed me. But such is life and we'll always have highlights.
