She was one of a kind. She blended traditional Brazilian music and American music and added her own unique personality and flair. There will never be another Carmen Miranda!!!

Carmen Miranda sings with an expression, intonation, whereas most singers sing only the notes without intonation, respect, emotions.. Every performance of Carmen Miranda's song is like a performance. Carmen Miranda is a holiday woman. I want my girlfriend to be like Carmen Miranda

Actually, that's an outake from "Greenwich Village" (20th Century Fox, 1944). One of Carmen Miranda's lavishest numbers.

True diva 💛🍌💛🍌💛🍌💛🍌
@DoniSacramento12 жыл бұрын
OK. Then, how about putting it this way. According to IMDB, the number would have been filmed for & inserted in (but disregarded), "Springtime in the Rockies" (1942) and then reconsidered to be in "Greenwich Village" (1944) as it was. But, according to Carmen's biographer, Brazilian writer Ruy Castro, the number had also been considered to be in "The Gang's All Here" (1943) - in between. Just thought fans of Carmen would like to have their attention drawn to all this. What do you think?

@mistersurrealist4 жыл бұрын
